This book is a useful guide to the basics of energy healing - talking about the human energy field, auras, chakras, the causes of illness, etc, and doing so in a clear, easy to understand way. When it gets to the energy work, and in particular, the act of healing and seeing, it seems to imply that there is only one way of doing it. But the visions that we each of us see when we heal are different, depending on the individual and the sorts of symbols that have meaning for each one. Indeed, some healers don't see anything at all, but work entirely from intuitive feeling, for example. As with Dawkins' 'The God Delusion', I read this book extremely thoroughly to see what all the fuss was about, but was again extremely disappointed inasmuch as all of the arguments are subject to powerful and long standing, well established counter-arguments. For a far more challenging read, which does not, incidentally, set out to destroy anyone's belief in God, but ends up making any thinking believer examine their beliefs very carefully, I recommend Dr Peter Vardy's (a lecturer in Philosophy of Religion) 'The Puzzle Of God.'

This is a great little book for learning EFT. It does in 90 pages what most books on the subject need 300 pages to do. Small enough to fit in your pocket, yet covers all you need to know on the technique of EFT.

There are many good points in this book but the author is going completely wrong in his negative view of working mothers. Study after study has now clearly shown that children are happiest when the mother is happiest - whether working or at home. The uncomfortable truth is: Staying at home with a young child can be torture. Incredibly boring, irritating and stressful. And to top it off - you will be despised for being 'just a housewife' by the rest of society. Has Biddulph himself ever tried it for any length of time? I very much doubt it because otherwise his views might be a bit more compassionate - and better researched.

A must have for any alternative therapist. A must have for the education of those traditional medicine. The sooner we all understand the need for hydration the better. This book helps to convey this. The chapter on aids though I find difficult to understand. But dispite this it still gets five stars

I have more than one box of cards but these are the ones that I use day in day out because the energy of them is warm and loving, even my friends are drawn to them more than their own packs. The accuracy is spot on and the messages are positive and nurturing. My cynical son drew out the same card 3 times in a row and has never looked back since. The pictures are beautiful and the cards and book provide a very simple but profound daily reading. If you are only going to buy one set of cards then this is it.

I found this book extremely helpful and recommend it to everyone wishing to develop their psychic skills which we are all born with. Most of us just don't realise that they have these skills. But there is a reason why I have only given it four stars instead of the deserved five. This reason is that, although clear instructions are given as to how to enter your Basic Psychic Level, it wasn't clear how to come out of it again. Because the differences between your brain's normal operating level and the Basic Psychic Level are very subtle, I feel that without knowing whether or not you have come back out of it, you would wonder whether you are back to normal or wheher you could unknowingly spend the rest of the day walking round in your slightly altered state!!!
