On the map suppose to show the Spanish Steps there is a arrow pointing off the map! The only things marked clearly are places to eat - I suppose because they sponsor the publication.
I've had to buy another guide before my trip. Most of the others I've since looked at are much better ... Read More:

I bought this book hoping that it would give me all the things it promises on its cover. I was very disappointed with what it actually had to offer. There are so many more options in Italy such as b&bs, castels, villas, farmhouses etc. It would be nice to have a good selection of each. Also it only seemed to be concentrating on the major cities leaving out a whole range of places located in the lovely Tuscan and Umbrian countryside. Books : Pocket Rome (Fodor's Pocket Guide to Rome)
We chose this book for our week-long holiday in Rome a few years ago because it said on the front "What to see and do if you can't stay long". The price indicators for Lodging and Dining are very useful (and accurate) too, particularly if like us you are on a tight budget and still want to enjoy your stay.
When we arrived in Rome we were glad to have the "Essential Information" chapter to help with which train to catch from the airport, and how to buy a travel ticket for the whole week. All the sections entititled ... Read More:
