Useful book on how confidence and a positive approach is important in playing well. There are plenty of anecdotes and some examples of how players created a helpful mental approach. On the flip side, the reader might have difficulties translating the 200+ pages of the book into concrete changes that are key for them.

This is an excellent book explaining all the symbols on charts,I never realised how detailed charts were until I had this book open next to one. A really helpful book for sailors and a great referance to keep at hand.You won't regret spending the money to purchase this book.

like the others i saw Bear on tv and thought heres someone with a good sense of humour and would make a brilliant uncle with his adventure stories, this book relates to much more than climbing Everest it could be paralleled to lifes struggles and your own personal Everest, what i took from it is that if you have the tenacity,determination and the burning desire to conquer something thats seems insurmountable it can be done, i liked Bears references to his faith (i am of no religion) but it struck me that if you have a belief it certainly will help get you through, good luck to him, this book left me wanting more Uncle Bears tales!!

If you want a walkthrough of the main storyline then this is a good book for it. It also gives you details of all the flying rats and unique stunt jumps. However the book does seem slightly flawed. 1. There is no page at the start with all the cars/bikes/helicopters etc so you know what there is. 2. There is no page to tell you where to find the exotic cars. 3. On the pullout map at the back it gives you locations for 10 exotic cars. When you get there the car is no where to be found. No clues as to how / when they are supposed to be there. So it does have some useful information but there is a lot they have missed out and just made a half assed attempt.

This is an essential guide for visiting the Peak District. Well priced and "handy" for the pocket. Well impressed.
