There are some things in life that appeal mainly to the connoisseur: others you would have to have a heart of stone not to be touched by. Machu Picchu belongs to the latter category. It makes a huge impression on all who see it. However, while it is both possible and pleasant to wander around the ruins in a dream-like state, soaking up the atmosphere, most people would appreciate the Incas' achievements all the more if they understood more about the functions of the various buildings and the problems that had to be overcome, e.g. in supplying the city with water. I have visited Machu Picchu twice and considered myself fairly well informed but learnt a great deal from each chapter of this book. Anyone who reads the book, and better still takes ... Read More:

Valencia is one of the most shockingly captivating books i have read in a long time.michelle is your usual messed up lesbian struggling to find a nd keep love with a string of women uninterested in her.She moves through the motions untill finally finding what it is she has been looking for.The book is sometimes graphic and definaitly not for those of a weaker disposition but also relatively truthful instead of missing the issues.I would recommend this book to anyone.Go read it, you wont be able to put it down.......

This book is a great starting point for any one interested in short film production.
The book is of high quality, full of inspirational pictures and is clear and well written.
The book covers many areas of production, here is a list;
Story and character development, art direction, storyboarding, production planning, modelling and texturing (although this is not a how to model etc. step by step guide) animation, lighting, sound effects, marketing and much more...
An extremely resourceful book and I am sure it will help to avoid many pitfalls when first starting out.
Well worth the purchase.

We spent 4 months in Northern Spain in 2005 and took this book with us as a guide and reference book for general information. The only good thing I can say about it us that it fitted in the cubby box in the LandRover other than that we could have used it for loo roll. When you are actually on the ground, in the area travelling around and reading the book, you wonder whether the author has ever set foot there. Don't bother, just purchase the right Michelin map and go for it!! Happy travelling.
