I only read this book cos I got it for 25p. After reading her first book I thought 'I don't like Sharon Osbourne' now I'm convinced of it. She is deluded enough to think that she has the right to criticise whomever she pleases (without censor or consideration) but God help anyone who has a less than glowing opinion of her or her odd family (You may get a parcel of human faeces through the post). If she was evenhanded in her comments I would accept her views despite disagreeing with her many times, but she takes such a lofty stance sometimes, its easier to dismiss her and write her off as an attention seeking toddler in a mature lady's (surgically enhanced) body. Don't waste your money on this tosh.

The most tragic, haunting book ive ever read. Completed it in a day. Reached into my soul and almost tore it out. This womans story is incredible. Her fight for survival and for life.
How there are still people in the world who stoop to such depravity is beyone me.
For a truly emotional tale, it does not get any better than this.

This novel is inspirational in all sense of the word. Souljah exposes the heart and mind of most women that i know, including myself. She exposes the deeper thinking behind the situation that is before her. She freely expresses what most women wouldn't dare speak out loud. Its amazingly put together.....the way she talks about relationships is something I believe men and women can both relate to and learn from. I dont want to expose the content...all i can say is READ IT!!! It will captivate you from the first page!

I can say two good things about this book: it contains some nice photos and it was printed on good quality paper. Other than that, it contains a lot of incorrect, incomplete, unfair, and sensationalized information. The author repeatedly offers references to Ms. Day's autobiography and other sources, but takes things out-of-context to suit his own purposes. He likes to dwell on Ms. Day's sex life, making his book a somewhat tawdry, "tabloid-like" publication. Furthermore, his style of writing makes reading "hard work."... Sadly, he goes out of his way to portray her as an eccentric recluse who "loves spiders." Just for the record, Ms. Day is not a hermit! She's a great lady who loves all of God's creatures ... My son is a fan of Shirleys son Jeremy, I'm a fan of Paddington. So I couldn't resist reading this. I have an original 'gabrielle' bear bought for me by my parents from a shop in the New Forest while holidaying there in the 70's. So I was very interested to find out his history. This was a lovely read. An inspiration to those starting a small business from nothing and the pitfalls along the way. Well done Mrs Clarkson.

This book is the only books that I've ever laughed uncontrollably while reading. Some material from the book is taken word for word from Ellen's standup- but most of the content is brand new. Ellen's cures for diseases are funny- she even makes up her own dance. One great part is Ellen writing an apology letter to a friend- and fanmail for ellen's made-up new column- AskEllen. Ellen's recipe for French toast, and how celebrities live are hilarious.
I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone looking to laugh.

This book is better than most previous books on Katharine Hepburn as it does reveal more about her, than they have. Her relationship with Spencer and her affairs with women ect.

However the most annoying thing about this book is the author's view that Kate is "transgender" he constantly tries to push this view. Instead of just presenting the facts and leaving it up to the reader make their own mind up, there is too much amateur psychology.

He is great at writing about gay men, he clearly knows that subject, but seems to have a very poor understanding of gay women.

He seems to think only men can really be gay (if you have read his other book "Behind the Screen: How Gays and Lesbians Shaped Hollywood, ... Read More:
