On the whole, the author has done a very good job of bringing together the plotlines from the previous books in the series. The ending is a little contrived, but that was to be expected. There are plenty of contrived sections and sub-plots in the previous books from the series - this is, after all, a fantasy for older children (adult readers often forget that), and it requires some leaps of faith to allow it to move on. It's not supposed to have a solid logical foundation. I can't understand the moans about the middle "camping" section, nor suggestions that the book is too dark or gruesome, certainly not for today's average teenager. i loved it. yo often find in books like this that they use swords or big weapons and i love the idea of using the bow instead i cant wait to read the next one

I chose this book because I read it when I was three.My favourite part of the book , was where the big billy goats Gruff went over the bridge to the beautiful meadow. It make me feel like I was the youngest, billy goat Gruff.

In this book Tiffany is now eleven and is leaving home for the first time in order to learn what it means to be a witch. Travelling to the mountains she stays with the research witch Miss Level but a creature from the dawn of time is stalking her and will make life difficult once it catches her. Nice slim book that does what it says in the title. Cheap, light, easily popped in your suitcase or bag and covers most everyday situations. Its more useful for holidays than anything else and I only really used it a couple of times as I preferred the lonely planet fast talk guide. Although its slim, it is quite 'tall' so you can't pop it in your pocket.

I love this book and all the other ones in this series because the illustrations are so great, very sweet, but incredibly bright and colourful at the same time, they really catch my babies' attention. They are also hardcover which is great for younger children because they cant tear (or eat) the pages and they can start to try and turn the pages themselves rather than have to sit there and be good in case the book gets all torn!

It's always difficult to review a book, as that which you may have loved, may not be someone elses cup of tea. This book is no exception to this rule. You may like it, love it, hate it, think it's a load of rubbish, or not have any opinion on it what-so-ever. Because taste in reading matter differs strikingly from person to person, I rarely write reviews for them, but "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" had to be an exception. It is, no question, one of my all-time favourite books, and I have bought many copies, giving them as presents for people who I know would enjoy it as I have.
