I ordered this book after reading recommendations on amazon and my baby seems to love it. He loves staring at the faces and the other patterns on the pages. The book crinkles so he loves to feel it and the velcro strap to attach it to cot/pram is a great feature. The book looks boring to parents but baby loves it! A great buy.

Bought this book for my pre-school group, the ladybird is not only bad tempered but wants to fight every creature he mets. I don't want to promote fighting or violence so this book has only been read twice.I was very disapointed because other eric carle book are Fab.

I introduced my daughter to this book a month ago when she was 9 months old, and it is by far her favourite book. She crawls over to it and lobs other books out of the way to get to it, and then happily sits turning the pages and opening and closing the flaps, she can't get enough of it no matter what time of day it is, although we also read it every night before bed as well. We've had to buy a second copy as I know she's going to tear something soon, but to date it has withstood her vigorous opening/closing/page turning! I would highly recommend it.

We found this tale of Fox and his search for his clothes lovely and useful. The story is fun. The length of the story and content seems just the right appeal for toddlers (I have a 18m old ) to get interested in learning clothes & then 'getting dressed' too. The lengh of the book seems good for us so that it stays interesting (and usually we like to read it again!). We love 'lift the flap' books too & 'finding the clothes' in this one is fun.

We purchased this for our little girl over a year ago, and she still really enjoys it. The book is based around a game of hide-and-seek. All the pigs are hiding in different places, some under the bed, another under a towel etc. To find each pig you have to lift up a little flap. Unlike in pop-up books the little flaps are securely attached and should remain so to a large extent (although minor repairs with celotape are easy when necessary). The small amount of words in the book are largely forgotten about as we search out the next pig. She has enjoyed the book so much so that now she will hide from Wibbly Pig around the house. Buy it and enjoy it. Simple and fun.

This is quite possibly the most meticulously detailed and expertly crafted pop-up book I have ever seen. It is my daughter's "special book" and can only be browsed with Mummy or Daddy at her side - basically because it is an absolute masterpiece, plus it delights both adults and children alike. Though the story is obviously abridged, it is still very detailed and makes the ultimate bedtime story - a page a night perhaps.

Every little girl should have this book - it is fabulous, my girls spend hours playing with it. We have bought it as a present for most of their friends and they love it too.

"Sometimes I feel happy ...sometimes I feel sad...." Your child can turn the wheel to reviel a happy then sad face. It goes one like this exploring our differences and our differing feelings. Very well drawn pictures + lots to pull/lift/turn on the pages. The last page has a feeling wheel with about 12 feelings...in its centre is an arrow that you can spin around. My 3 year old loves this book & it is very much suitable for much older children.
