Great book - I bought it for going away on holiday as a new book that would hold my toddler son's interest for a while, and he hasn't put it down since August! Personally I'm a bit bored of the book but then I'm not 2... Sturdy flaps, bright and bold colours, and educational - what more could you want? It is great for sharing and talking about the pictures and engines, but my son will also happily get it off the bookshelf and 'talk' himself through it on his own, usually at least once a day. Highly recommended!

My daughter absolutely loves reading this as well as Usborne's "Who's Making That Smell" - it's a truly interactive book with the flaps to lift and cute animals to search for on every page as well as the fun in guessing who's making what noise! Her favourite by far is the last page where she gets to shout along with the characters! It's a real treat for any child!

I am a drama teacher in Ireland and have found this to be a really excellent book of theatre games and ideas, including lots of short scripts to use with young kids, with lots of games i have never come across, although there is a certain degree of cross over with "the gamester's hand book" it is a more comprehensively theatre focused book than that.Well laid out, clear and great fun, with lots of great variations offered for each game. First class.

Both my son (now 20 months) and his cousin (3 years) were totally sold on Maisy from the onset through this lift-the-flap book. At bedtime, it is always the favourite choice and never fails to get squeals of delight and keep them both enthraled. This book has always helped to develop my son's vocabulary and has given his cousin the opportunity to play imagination games as she changes the situations and hiding places of the animals each time she reads the book.

"This Little Baby" is a cute and colourful little book with a black-and- white real baby picture on each page. There are phrases saying what each baby does (says hello, is ready to go, plays with his toys, makes lots of noise, lies down for a rest)...And at the last page there is a surprise - a mirror and a phrase saying "And this little baby is the one I love best!" One of the first my daughter's books, easy to hold and turn pages, colourful enough to attract attention and fun enough to see other little babies.
