This is a great little set for girls getting interested in writing notes, with lots of cute little ready-made notelets, and ideas to develop their own, including a tiny envelope template and stickers. The only negative for me is the American style and language, but I can live with that.

I bought this book for my daughter's eighth birthday party for an activity. The children spent a good part of the party making these and were thrilled with the way their creations shrank. They swapped with their friends and all had some to take home at the end. For an excellent activity plus fun take-home gift it was very good value. There was enough pieces of shrinkable paper left for a rainy day too. I would love to see KLUTZ extra materials sold online too though.

This combination of book and CD is a fine idea. The selection of rhymes is comprehensive and the pictures are fun and colourful. The voices of the two narrators/singers are good . However it would have been instructive to know that the singers herald from the Outback with their thick Australian accents dispelling the sweet memories I was hankering for.

I loved this colourful, well-presented 'lift-the-flap' book for 4 to 7 year olds. It looks at the major world religions in a balanced way showing some similarities between them and the important aspects of each one. There is a poster at the back with the main festivals of each religion. Subsequently it promotes understanding and tolerance of religion amongst little ones. This would be an excellent book in any home or classroom.

What a brilliant book. The diagrams are really clear and easy to follow, which is difficult to achieve and rarely done well with this sort of thing! It contains pages of thick card with holes placed to allow you to practice the knots - genius. Well designed and thought out, very practical throughout. Simple and colourful without being childish.
