I first read Anne of Green Gables at the age of 19, and within two weeks had bought the rest of the books in the series and read them all. I still re-read them at frequent intervals and I am now 38! I would recommend this and the other books to any child or adult.

I actualy love this book, even thought its over 30 years since its been writen, the issues in the book havn't chanaged. I can completely relate to what Kath goes through. I so wanted it to work out between them, and it all be okay, but thats not how real life works, and its not how the book is. But, saying that , its not like the book had one of them horrible soppy ending , its just how real life is. A definite read for anyone 12 upwards, and i only say 12 upwards because some of the scenes in the book are a little explicit. A timeless book, well wortth reading.

I queued up for this book on the 15th of July 2005, and it was worth it. This book is definitely one of my favourite Harry Potters, along with COS, GOF and DH. There was so much going on, unlike OOTP, and I loved all the memories and Dumbledore and Harry looking for the Horcruxes. It was interesting to see how Malfoy's character developed from book one onwards, and I think that in this book in particular you see what he will become. I thought him being a death eater was a great idea, and I enjoyed reading about how he dealt with all the problems. I thought that this was a real good book however the main character was yet again another young girl (who again turns out to be described as a skinny tall girl who's not very popular) who seems too young to have the role she has. You just can't wait to find out what happens next but some of the things that happen in this story sound a bit unrealistic. I wasn't very happy with the ending either, everything happened so qick so it was very short and you would have expected more things to happen to make the story sound more realistic. I would recommend buying the book but don't always think that something very interesting is going to happen next; at leats this is what is my opinion.

This is my all time favourite book and Jacqueline Wilson is my best author. I have read many of her books and have enjoyed all of them. Candyfloss is very good and is all about a little girl called Floss who doesn't want to go to Australia with her mum and Steve. But she decides to go and live with her dad instead. What will happen to Floss and her dad when they get chucked out of the cafe? To find out you will have to read this book!!!!!!!!!

As someone who has recently finished reading His Dark Materials and considers it one of the best series of novels ever written, I eagerly bought both this and Once Upon A Time In The North together from Amazon and - considering them both together - I am glad I did. I love miscellanies and companion books and both of these books are both great for the serious fan, containing snippets of information deliberately out of context - the idea being to make you think and fill in the gaps with your own imagination. But if you have only read the first book (or seen the film), I would advise buying Once Upon A Time In The North - as that is a great standalone story of reasonable length - and not this one until you have read your way to the end of the His Dark Materials ...
