Buy this book - it's fab! My daughter loves turning the pages and looking at the bright drawings, and the music is the best I've heard for this type of thing. Really well done and worth every penny. Hurrah!

My daughter loves Maisy and friends and would choose to have this book read to her every night. On each page there are different weather scenes with movable flaps and sections that are great for little fingers to play with (under guidance). Some of the moveable parts have now been pulled too strongly,but have been repaired! The vibrant colours are great for small children and sound effects my husband makes whilst reading this, has added to the fun my daughter has with the book.

This series of books are great fun to read and keep young ones amused with the lift up flaps. These are a favourite in our house at bedtime.

I bought this book based on the good reviews. My one year old loves the interactive bits of the book - but am I the only person who questions the binding method of a book designed for young children? I keep having to 'thread' the pages back onto the comb and I fear it's not going to last very long in comparison to 'proper board books' which is a shame

"This old man, he played one, he played knick-knack on my drum". I never understood what a knick-knack was as a child and am non-the-wiser now. However I always loved this catchy rhyme. I bought the book to enhance the singing of the rhyme to my first toddler. The book is pleasant enough, but I don't feel that the illustrations marry up to the rhyme particularly well. For instance, "This old man, he played two, he played knick-knack on my shoe" is illustrated by a dancing pirate who has a wooden leg! Also, each page has a cut-out hole and the number of holes, and the pictures that you see through them don't have much of a bearing on the rhyme or the number in question. Absoultely gorgeous book, well written and humourous in places. Even though my daughters now 2 and her brothers now 6 ( and just the idea of another baby is enough to make both mum and dad run to the hills screaming!) this book still gets read at least once a week. Excellent value too!!
