I borrowed this from the library for my (almost) 2 year old daughter and she loves it so much I'm going to buy her a copy. It's bright and bold and the rhyming is fun. I had no idea there was more than one verse. There are doors to open with additional rhymes which she's not quite ready for yet but it will be good to have a book that she can grow with.

Tod the dog falls in a bog while out for a jog. The saviour of the day is the hog with a log. There is background rhyming commentary from a pair of caterpillars with a fairly dry sense of humour. This book appears to be aimed at children just beginning to read as the '-og' words are at the top of each page, but my 2 and a 1/2 year old son has learnt to play with rhyming words since this book. There's also Jen the Hen but the story is not so much fun as Tog's.
