The cover is offputting, it looks kind of amateurish and yet this is a wonderful artist. Why did they put this picture on the cover? I suggest when the paperback comes out it has a different image on the cover, which will draw you inside and do justice to what is within. Because this is a stunning book with pictures you can look at for ages. The artist is really accomplished, has a lovely feeling for atmosphere and yet can paint in detail. Perhaps the book should be in a larger format when the paperback comes out, because there is so much detail it is a pleasure to examine it. Packed full of intriguing ideas, visual illusions and jokes, I can't recommend it highly enough.

I borrowed this from the library for my nursery class- lots of new just 3 year olds who absolutely loved this book. The flaps are large and so less likely to come off. They continually read the story to their 'babies' - just what we want to encourage - but they want to listen to it themselves every storytime! On each page we can relate what is happening to Little Tiger to their own experiences. Just had to buy my own copy!

My Farm is a colourful and tactile little padded book for young ones. Each page has an area to touch, lift or squeak and the fence on the first page gives the baby a "bobbly" area to run their fingers along. My little one thought is was great as most of the pages had hidden surprises. Find the apples under the cloth, the chicks under the wing or the piglet under the squeaker. As with most babies, everything goes into the mouth first. There was no worries that this book would be shredded or chewed to a pulp!
