A very good movie, its about The Water Horse (The Loch Ness Monster ?) who grows from been very tiny to a huge animal in a very short space of time. Beautifully shot with excellent locations and settings, gives the impression of Scotland during World War II.
Very good looking creature, looks very life like.
Very entertaining for all the family which the kids will love.

DVD : The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep [2008] (REGION 1) (NTSC)
This film was not my first choice, and it was presented as being for kids, but finally my wife and I enjoyed it nevertheless.
The movie is set in Scotland during the 2nd would war. A young lad Angus (Alex Etel) finds an egg on the beach, and surprise surprise it hatches into an odd looking little creature (the star of the movie christened Crusoe). We see Angus's older sister Kirstie (Priyanka Xi) let into the secret, and his mother Anne (Emily Watson) kept out of it. We see the British army appear to "protect" the locals in the middle of nowhere (Loch Ness) commanded by the usual arrogant chinless wonder Capt. Hamilton (David Morrissey). We see the "hero" Lewis Mowbray (Ben Chaplin) appear as the handyman, and he quickly learns about the existence ... Read More:

DVD : Alien Invasion (REGION 1) (NTSC)
For the information to any potential buyer of this DVD, it is NOT the George Sanders/Patrick Allen film "INVASION OF THE BODY STEALERS" A.K.A "THIN AIR" !!. I was dissapointed to say the least ( "Body stealers" is still not yet available on any format whatsoever ! ) What you have here is four B/W episodes of the 1940's Flash Gordon series, which are fine, but not as described here. Someone please release this movie !!!!

Really nice film - Rudolf is very sweet
Daugher was a little bit scared at the snow monster but soon got used to him
good humour too - little elf wants to be a dentist so gets shunned from santa's workshop!
The little characters you see on the cover are animated and they are little puppets
