Got this DVD yesterday and giving it a go for the first time today. Practically gave up almost immediately - impossible to follow. So I thought I would see how other people have got on with it and read the reviews - thank you, very helpful - maybe I will try and persevere but not being a very patient person with much time to spare, I think it's unlikely. My biggest complaint with this - and other fitness DVD's - is that they never have someone doing the routine with their back to you - know what I mean? Not only do you have to try and learn all the moves but you have to learn them in reverse. Please please fitness DVD makers - we don't need to see your face! Having just seen the review by Mrs Pigott and knowing the show, I had to laugh as she seems to have misunderstood the text on the cover. The title "Simply Ballroom" does not give any indication of instruction nor do the words "Ballroom Dance Spectacular" or "A Must See Show" indicate instruction. Of course it is a show, it is one that has toured the country at least twice in the last two or three years. For lovers of top performances in Ballroom and Latin dancing it a fantastic show and the DVD is an excellent souvenir of a visit to the show or if you missed the show a great way to experience it now.
