For those people (like me) who didn't realise this is half a season I have found out the following:

This is the first 10 episodes.
The last 10 episodes will be released in the UK under the title of 'Season 5' (hence the 'Season 4' title of this one).

This UK release will also include 'Razor' (although I can't find any confirmation of whether it will be the extended version of 'Razor'). It will also included deleted scenes and a sneak peak of the 2nd half of the season.

If, like me, you haven't bought Razor yet then this is still a good way of getting your BSG fix. Especially as I'm getting this as a birthday present.

The Only other successful Re-Imagining of a Classic Show other than this is DOCTOR WHO. But BATTLESTAR GALACTICA has done well as a sci-fi drama kicking the original out of the Galaxy.

A True Representation of Television made good.
When I first heard of it i thought "Yet again, They'll screw it up." But the New version grabbed me from the Pre Title on the Miniseries right until the Cliffhanger. starting on the First Season Currently then moving on to seasons 2 & 3 (Already Seen RAZOR - Not a Bad Film).

some of the many things this version has over the original is the fact that the Galactica is a ship that was meant to be put in mothballs. The shocks that are through the whole story. But the thing I love most ... Read More:

The story of Bridget Jones first began as a diary collumn in a newspaper, rose to success in book form (then it's sequel) and then finally hit the movies in 2001 with Briget played quite perfectly by the lovely Renee Zellwegger.

This modern take on Pride and Predjudice follows the female protagonist Briget Jones who decides to keep a diary of her life; unlike the Mary-Jane all too perfect characters in most stories and movies of today, Bridget is quite literally EVERY woman you've ever known.

Bridget is a 30-something urban singleton on the look for love - perhaps in the wrong places. She's an ever so slightly overweight (Zellwegger put on weight specifically for the movie) office worker who reads self-help books religiously, ... Read More:

As mentioned above, the show rocks. Edward James Olmos again excelled as Adama. And so did Michelle Forbes as Admiral Cain. But even though the show is delivered via DVD, I could'nt help thinking it looks and feel as if I'm watching VCD. So my rating is based on the show(content) alone and not on the video quality(DVD).

I was never a fan of the original, but this re imagined version hooked me right form the start. Its structured as a complete story with lots of strong and flawed characters and plenty of action. There are interesting relationships and B5 fans will undoubtedly appreciate the who-you-are / what-you-are implications of the story.

Acting, CGI special effects, and production are all excellent.

Highly recommended.

Having now watched the first 3 seasons i am in a good position to write the reviews, this first season is slow to get going it's a good backdrop and sets up the seasons that follow really well but it is hard going at times. The action is few and far between and the subconcious scenes between Dr Balter and Caprica 6 happen far too often and at times add little (at this stage) to the overall story developement this season. But stick with it as season 2 is stunning 5 stars (and obviously you will have to have watched this first) and season 3 is very good as well. If your a sci-fi fan looking for something new buy this.

I purchased the set (without actually watching it) upon the reccommendation of a friend and the reviews written on this production.
I'm so glad to own this production.
At first I was not sure what to expect and I was not at all impressed with it when I first viewed it. Thinking on the production and viewing it again the second time I have come to apperciate the production and the leading actors do an amazing job as Victoria and Albert.
I especially like how Albert married Victoria even though he was not in love with her as Victoria was with Albert. But he took his marriage vows very seriously and he grew to love Victoria and was faithful to her.
Victoria and Albert were very moral people and they as the first family wanted to set the example to the country.

DVD : One Night with the King [2006] (REGION 1) (NTSC)
Visually stunning dramatization of the Purim story, the movie brings to the screen in a thrilling and engaging way the story of Hadassah, the beautiful Jewish orphan girl who becomes Queen of Persia and saves her people from the annihilation planned by Haman (James Callis), the Agagite.
The prologue begins with the capture a few centuries before of Prince Agag by King Saul, and his execution by the Prophet Samuel (Peter O Toole).
Agag's pregnant wife escapes however and perpetuates the descent of the ancient enemy of Israel, the Amalekites.

Tiffany Dupont plays a beautiful, spirited, intelligent and engaging Hadassah as we see something of the life of the Persian Jews in Susa, being raised by her uncle Mordecai (John Rhys-Davies), who adopted her when she was a little ... Read More:

I already owned the region 2 box set when this once eventually came out on amazon.com and simply had to own it . For all battlestar fans this box set gives all the extras , insights , deleted scenes , podcasts , commentaries . the Resistance webisodes ( that SCIFI would only show to in the USA/Canada ) extended episodes and much much more !!! In esscense this box set has everything that the Region 2 box set did not have. The version available here is pale by comparsison . The downside - you will pay customs charges of £12 for any item over £18 in value and it takes a while to travel accross the "Pond".So if you only buy one version of season three buy this one its much much better
