Simplemente Maravillooosaaa!!! no se que decir, pocas veces se ve una pelicula tan llena de realismo y al mismo tiempo de fantasia como esta; que contraste tan bien logrado, la dulzura de los cuantos de hadas enfrentada a la insipida y estresada vida de la gran ciudad (New York); es interesantisimo el traer a una "princesita disney" a la cruda vida de carreras, automoviles, empleados...y ladrones. Maravillosas las escenas en que Guiselle canta a las ratas, palomas y cucarachas para que aseen la casa!!! increible laforma en que se gana el cariño de la gente y hasta hace que un matrimonio a punto de divorciarse se reconcilie!!! pero sobrte todo la preciosa escena del baile, hace suspirar a cualquiera!!! uno de los papeles inolvidables es el de ... very good film, a bit cheesy in places but thats the 60's for you! Good soundtrack to go with it, I recommend it.

I don't want to repeat the movie plot, etc., etc... to summarize, it is a funny, sweet and touchingly warm. I like the movie, the actors/actresses, and the ending. Go and watch it with your girl friends or boy friends or any friends. Have fun!

After such a long time away from the big screen and with no Christopher Reeve there was a chance this could have been a big disappointment- no chance! Every thing about the movie is good, the action scenes are as you would expect and demand from a Superman movie and the effects are fantastic. The script is also intelligent and in much the same style as the original movie, which means you are engaged throughout. I can't understand the reviewers who have criticised the acting, Brandon Routh does a magnificent job as Kent/Superman and has perfected Christopher Reeve's mannerisms so well that it's scary. Kevin Spacey is good as Lex Luther but admittedly doesn't have quite the same presence as Gene Hackman, and Kate Bosworth slips comfortably into the role ... Read More:

The opening shots depict a bleak concentration camp and a family being seperated. As the rain pours down and the parents are dragged off through the mud, a boy reaches out; his pain drawing the metal of the gates towards him until he is crudely beaten with the butt of a rifle and knocked senseless. The beginning suggests that this film will take the exploration of discrimination of the x-men comics seriously and this is continued through Washington hearings as a senator whips up public support for the labelling of 'mutants'. This is an action film that takes its subtext seriously; it develops slowly allowing actors time to structure their roles. It boasts a fine cast. this film isn't exactly what i would call a real classic. sure, it has all the usual actors but it doen't any humourous moments, like some of the other films in the series. The ending is just plain embarissing. it made me cringe. watch this if you a fan. My son adores this film, i haven't discovered why yet but i've been watching him very closely and i think that some of the scenes are a little to saturating for him to handle.

This is not the sort of movie I go for, but having read a few glowing reviews elsewhere about the film and the quality of picture and sound, and given that it is selling for well under £10, I thought I'd try it. If you don't like musicals then its best to avoid, but I don't mind them and hoped this would be entertaining part of the film. From the outset, the movie is crammed with songs, maybe one or two could be better or one or two less for me, and a little more dialogue. I felt it became a bit too broadway,but seeing as this is taken from the stageshow I can see how it's turned out that way. Some people are saying it's the new Grease or some are going OTT and saying it's better, but I can report IMO, it's not in the same Grade. On the upside though, I was entertained, even ... This dvd is great you can sing and dance to all the songs and it is a great story.

I was really looking forward to this........Oh how i was dispointed. I can't even list the faults with this film but any true Superman fan will see this is poor. Here is a few marked out of 10 (10 being the best)= Casting = 2 Acting = 4 Story = 2 Would i like to see a sequel = (Minus)-10 Sorry but not for true fans.
