top gear is my favourite show this box set is excellent and well worth the money. i have watched the boxsets more than 5 times now and i still have a laugh watching it thank you top gear. jeremy clakrson richard hammond james and the stig all legends!

Yep, same problem here - the challenges are 'interleaved' such that one challenge is interrupted halfway through by the start of the next challenge, which is in turn interrupted halfway through by the resumption of the first challenge, after which the second challenge resumes..... you get the picture. But if this wasn't bad enough, the beginning of each chapter isn't even aligned with the start of a challenge, or even the start of one 'section' of a challenge.... aaaaaargh! Just as well then that the content is so utterly hilarious. BBC please take note and make a better job of presenting "Challenges 2"! This film had a lot of minor flaws, which could have been major ones, except for the fact that it had bundles of charm, which made it oddly attractive to me and the person I went to see it with. It was very much like an old stlye british drama that could have been made in the sixties ("Spring and Port Wine" springs to mind). However, I appreciate that many people do not have the patience for such movies nowadays. These days the public seem to want all-action, or violence, sex or melodrama. Anything more slow paced and gentle just won't do. I am glad Craig is the sort of actor who will lend himself to this type of work and I would applaud him for it. I have had this on video for years, and have watched it many many times, it's one of those musicals you can never get bored of. I had a dream to see this live, and my wish finaly came true last weekend and i got to see it live at the Theatre. What can i say but Wow! I didn't think it would be as good as the video, but i was wrong, the whole cast were fantastic, and really out done themselves. I recommend this musical to anyone,especially those people who love Cats.

A terrific double feature from Optimum Home Entertainment. The London Nobody Knows is the main attraction, dating from 1967, a compulsively watchable documentary on the real London of the 60's - not the usual cliches of dolly birds swinging down Carnaby Street, but a roam round the city by the urbane and sympathetic (and occasionally opinionated) James Mason, from Camden's old Bedford Music Hall (just before it was pulled down), to the Stables Market when it was - stables! Eccentric street entertainers, sad meths drinkers, street markets. An absolute must for anyone with any kind of affection for the city of London. A very funny and highly entertaining program of well known wine expert OZ Clarke and Jamas May known form Top Gear, who together travels on a wine adventure. James knows nothing about wine, but have chosen the car for the adventure (of course an English jaguar) and is like a rebel boarder school boy taught by the slightly older and more distinguished Oz Clarke, who continuously tries to learn James about the different wines and the impressions they make. It all turns into a lot of very entertaining and very funny situations, filled with humour, and there is a lot to learn and view, both from the more experienced and newcomer to wine tasting, on this fantastic wine adventure filled taste -and sense impressions.

I really enjoy this show, i've watched it through about 4 times. I have the first series aswell but i find this secoind series is better, more variety in the people they meet and James isnt as close minded and slightly arrogant as he is in the first series. Its actually quite educational to, giving me enough of a basic knowledge about what wines i would like aswell as why they are grown where they are and taste like they do. It has some very funny moments and one particular scene invloving garlic wine had me genuinley laughing out loud, the humour can be dry so it possibley wont be for everyone but this show about 2 English dandies travelling around California is something i am glad i found.

This is basically one episode of top gear, at under an hour, for 12 quid. Very funny, and a brilliant episode, but thats all it is - one episode. The extras arent worth mentioning (3 minutes 30 of outtakes and some very dull stuff about the stig). Get 'Top Gear:The challenges' instead - same price, even funnier, and has over 3 hours of footage.
