Let me start out by saying: I can't possibly say anything negative about this season nor this series. It has a brilliant main plot with new seasonending-leadups every year which always keeps it fresh and new. It also has great writers (especially Sera Gamble) and puts the old horrormyths to excellent use, such as Hellhounds, Vampires, Ghouls, Ghost, etc. But what really keeps me hooked to the show and on the edge of my seat during every episode is the excellent acting done, mainly, by Jared Padelecki and Jensen Ackles but much praise should also go to Jim Beaver (Bobby), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (John W.), Lauren Cohan (Bela, though sadly she didn't make it into the fourth season), Samantha Ferris (Ellen), and Alona Tal (Jo). This is a brilliant series. It has wonderful acting, writing, directing, special effects and music. It blends horror, comedy, emotion, family drama, action, mystery and suspense perfectly. I would recommend this as it is an excellent drama series which has been missed by a lot of people because of the lack of publicity compared with other shows. This is the best programme on TV!

I greatly enjoy any stories that have to do with the unseen and supernatural. I was immediately blown away by this show. It has it all - great storyline, good acting, superb special effects to make it all real, twists and side stories. The characters are well developed and the lore behind the supernatural seems well researched which dedfinitely adds credibility (if such a thing exists in the light of the subject matter) to the wild imaginations of the writers. If you like hearing about demons, ghosts, tortured souls, redemption, in other words - THE SUPERNATURAL then this show is a must see for you!

Wowwwww.. i first watched this film at a sleepover.. Sat down watching it with my best mates and a tub of popcorn was great.. and so was the film!! I found this film funny and hugely scary, so if your not a lover of scary movies, dont buy this! Honestly, you will never touch the dvd again! But i find this a perfect dvd for sleepovers, cuddling with hubby or just for a brill movie. I would have also thought that Paris Hilton would have been a rubbish actress, but to be honest, not as bad as i thought. I would advise yout though, not to let under 15's watch this film, they might get nightmares for a while.. i totally understand why it is a 15 certificate! Grab it if you love scary films!! The dvd's arrived today - and shock of all shocks - there are extras - see moaning pays off. As always great episodes and there will be a third series (campaigning pays off again). Extras include a "gags reel" and two episode commentaries - would have like more stuff than that but somethings better than nothing

a 24 year old having a mary kate and ashley movie in her collection lol. I will admit i originally only bought it because im a huge Jared Padalecki fan (he plays Trey) and it was the only one of his movies missing from my collection but i actually thoroughly enjoyed it. Its one of those feel good family films for lazing around on a sunday afternoon.

although i must boast a big fan of horror films, i do feel that over the past few years horror films have been churned out in big batches without having any real storyline. This was a good film, it had a good plot and the acting was mostly sound. There were plenty of shocks and freaky moments,but i must admit i guessed the kller well before the end.

Will it be in high definition? Unless it's a error on Amazon's part, to me one disc does not seem adequate for a complete season; shortened as it was due to the writer's strike. If true it sounds that this will really be a standard definition release with all the episodes put on one compact blu-ray disc. After all the, UK releases of the dvd boxsets were inferior to the those in the US (in regards to extras). The american blu-ray release on the Amazon US will apparantly be three discs - which sounds about right. Proceed with caution.
