Pete (Sean Marshall) is a poor orphan. He's been adopted by the mean Gogan family run by the matriarch Lena (Shelley Winters). The Gogans make him work from morning til night and beat him for the slightest thing.

So, naturally, he runs away. Only this time he has help in the form of Elliot. Elliot is a dragon. And while he doesn't always think about what he's doing, he means well. And he really wants to help Pete.

Pete and Elliot happen to find the town of Passamaquoddy on the coast of Maine. Their first trip through town doesn't go well, so they find themselves out by the lighthouse, where they make friends with Lampie (Mickey Rooney) the lighthouse keeper and his adult daughter Nora (Helen Reddy). Have they found ... Read More:

Yes, this should rightly be called Carry on Cleavage, as it combines the cheeky seaside humour of the old Carry On films with the finest gothic decollettage since Fenella Fielding in Carry on Screaming!

OK, so to the plot - Elvira's aunt has died and left her something in her will. Elvira thinks that this may fund her dream of starring in her own Vegas show so she heads to her aunts small town America home only to find she has inherited a run down house in a town full of locals that don't appreciate her sassy style, apart from the towns kids who love her wild spirit and secretly a few of the towns men who appreciate her obvious charms, much to the disgust of their straightlaced wives!

She finds that there is also witchcraft afoot, ... Read More:

ThirdSpace is average, Call to arms borders on the pathetic and the only movie that is really worth watching out of the set is River of Souls.

ThirdSpace: Cool idea which simply did not fit the format. It would have taken at least 4-5 episodes in order to develop it fully to the same depth as the Babylon main line. It was cramped into a small feature movie instead. It is clearly missing the depth of the Babylon 5 mainline. Some tolerable special effects, lots of holes in the plot and a really cheesy and stitch-ed up ending.

Call to Arms: Worse than an average Babylon 5 episode. Its only right to existence is to provide the link between the Crusader and Babylon 5. There are so many inconsistencies that it is not even funny. On top of that a number ... Read More:

I barely remember Taxi whenit was shown on BBC2 ages ago,but i had been
following it on Paramount Comedy channel untill now,and enjoyed it immensely.
Now,finally Taxi has been granted a Region 2 release after being Region 1
for so long.Truly a great series with very likable characters and the blossoming of Danny Devito's career.A pity then that some of the other actors seemingly faded away into near obscurity.
A must for all Cheers and even Frasier fans,as the writing and pacing
shown here lay the foundations for those shows, and many others.
Buy it,and lets hope the following seasons get a Region 2 release to!

I have a huge soft spot for this film, which I went to see as a 9th birthday treat. The original Jack Higgins book is desperately unlikely, and probably stems from some theoretical research into possible commando raids rather than the superbly melodramatic discovery of a hidden gravestone...

Anyway, this is great WW2 hokum with a great cast and director who keep a firm grasp of their jobs all the way through some outrageous lines...Caine as the steely eyed German (not Nazi) para; a chilling Himmler played to perfection by Donald Pleasance; Donald Sutherland as the animal taming member of the 'OiRA'; Jean Marsh as the sleeper agent; my favourite Larry Hagman as a Ranger Colonel... great stuff. There is a well-choreographed shootout too, and you do root for the Germans ... Read More:

This is a really great movie. I am the sort of person who takes movies seriously - i went round for weeks after watching scream thinking i was going to be killed by a psycotic killer! Anyway, the movie is basically about 3 girls who kill their best friend by stuffing a Jawbreaker down her throat on her birthday - NICE - and they try to cover it up. this is until Fern Mayo (naise) comes along and it all ends in tears - for courtney shayne (Rose McGowan). The Movie would be a 12 if it wasn't for all the F words in it. ah well . Its a MUST WATCH movie And The cast is great. But - i thought i was going to die from choking on a jawbreaker but i haven't yet so no need to worry ! :D

When I tell people about this film and mention that Jim Carrey is the staring role they assume that it is a stupid film with Carrey's ever repetetive one liners and catchphrases, I assure you this is one film that won't annoy the hell out of you.

The film is based on Andy Kaufman's life and how he was pictured by the media. This is a tragic dramatical comedy which will make you laugh at the antics of Andy Kaufman but also make you think when the serious stuff kicks in. The film follows Andy through his early times in clubs right through his appearences on saturday night live, the inter-gender wrestling, his time on Taxi, the ludicras hoax's and the tragedy of his life, this is one of my favorite films and if you watch I'm sure it will be one of yours aswel.
