Make no mistake about this - ' Provided you don't Blink ' you should enjoy it. The story line is ramped up so much I had to replay several sequences again as twist and turns are all over the shop. Without a doubt the strongest story is ' Gone Part One / Part Two ' and at times its very chilling indeed. Conchita Campbell who plays ' Maia Skouris ' is exceptional and the ' Gone ' story line revolves around her. In fact this story gets to the whole heart of the complete series This episode reinforces the "ripple effect" and when you think about it - you really have to wonder if this ever became ' Science Fact ' then there is great danger in playing God. 4400 - Series ... I am addicted to this show. The more I am in pain to learn that there will be no further seasons showed in the US. TV giant USA decided to not further continue the show. Mass protests from fans all over the states were unsuccessful. So season 4 ends with an open end and we all will never learn about the true ending of this spectacular TV series.

As the title says, if you can make your way through this series (and are either interested or entertained by the idea and plot) then the second series gets a whole lot better. This fairly short (episode-wise) series starts with an 80 minute long Pilot in which we see the abduction of various people (from the 1930's through to 2001), followed by a skip ahead in time to 2004,when all the abductees, all 4400 of them, are returned all at once in Seattle. They are soon carted off to a quarantine area controlled by a government organisation called NTAC, where we are introduced to a couple of the 4400s (one of which is the son of an NTAC agent) who will appear in almost every episode of this, and the next two seasons. One of my favourite Sci-Fi shows - but, ignore what it says on the CD cases about commentary on some of the episodes, they aren't there for some reason... May be that they are only available on Region 1 or something, but it's kind of misleading to say they're on the Region 2 DVDs when they're not.

This film was based on a novel by Steven Pressfield but the real inspiration was from the Hindu Epic The Mahabaharata where there is an interesting conversation that leads to the holiest of Hindu Scriptures known as the Bhagavad Gita. Will Smith as Bagger Vance (pronounced in an Indian way as Bhagawan; another name for Krishna) is brilliant and is ably supported by Matt Damon as R. Junuh (alternatively pronounced as Arjuna). The story shows Smith as a caddy and also spiritual guide to Damon...as in the Bhagavad Gita. A nice, tender film at the hand of writer/director Robert Redford. You bet it can. Especially if you do not view them back-to-back. Usually the first in a series is fresh and surprisingly different. It is not an easy thing to keep up the momentum. Well in "National Treasure II" they added momentum. It was great keeping all our old friends and seeing how they progressed. It is not that Mitch Wilkinson (Ed Harris) does not make a good villain, but I was sort of hoping that Ian Howe (Sean Bean) would have escaped to create more havoc. This film was packed with great actors but I think that the character Prof. Emily Appleton (Helen Mirren) was a double plus good edition. Basic story is that the Gates family is once again besmirched by the mysterious Mitch Wilkinson. And the only way to clear the family name is to find the city of ... Read More:
