a wonderfull movie, a real good sleepover movie! i loved it, its a great classic and a must have comedy romance

Try to park up 99% of your brain cells before watching this. It is a great insult to our modern society that this type of film is rated as "entertainment". Isn't it about time films got an IQ rating? This would feature in the "under 50". I beg the film industry to do something that avoids me renting this type of rubbish ever again.

In The Wedding Planner Jennifer Lopez acts as a woman who sets up weddings for other people but who is very cynical about the ceremony herself (we find out why during the course of the film).She falls in love with Matthew Mcconaughey who is engaged to one of her friends and tries to do the right thing by helping them to get married.The Wedding Planner,itself,tries to be an old-fashioned movie from fifty or so years ago set in modern times.It succeeds in doing this but there are big errors in the script (in one instance the characters are delivered some news that in real life I'm sure would have left people speechless but in the storyline they accept with nonchalance).Nevertheless,Mcconaughey and Lopez are engaging enough to make this a film ... This is a fantastic film. It shows both sides of the story as much as any movie can. It shows the greedy Americans and the sick cruel Saddam regime. What strikes me the most is how, I guess you could call them 'politically correct' reviewers, have come here talking about this being an "anti-war film" or a statement against America. In my opinion these individuals only pay attention to what suits their point of view. This film shows both sides; the helplessness of the Iraqi civilians being slaughtered by Saddam's army, and the American government's greed for oil which means they readily abandon the Iraqi people after promising to back them in their rise against Saddam. This is not anti-war, this is pro-war; but pro-the right kind of war ... Read More:

Romantic comedies rise and fall on the chemistry of the two leads. Thankfully then for '27 Dresses' the cast is well catered for with the excellent Katherine Heigl as the lead and James Marsden as the charismatic love interest. Heigl plays Jane a woman who has become so adept at being a maid of honour that she has been a bridesmaid 27 times. Marsden plays Kevin a journalist who meets Jane by chance at a wedding; he sees in her a potential story about a woman who is always a bridesmaid never a bride. They instantly dislike one another but they are forced to get along when Jane's sister falls for Jane's boss and they plan to wed. This is a really great movie. I am the sort of person who takes movies seriously - i went round for weeks after watching scream thinking i was going to be killed by a psycotic killer! Anyway, the movie is basically about 3 girls who kill their best friend by stuffing a Jawbreaker down her throat on her birthday - NICE - and they try to cover it up. this is until Fern Mayo (naise) comes along and it all ends in tears - for courtney shayne (Rose McGowan). The Movie would be a 12 if it wasn't for all the F words in it. ah well . Its a MUST WATCH movie And The cast is great. But - i thought i was going to die from choking on a jawbreaker but i haven't yet so no need to worry ! :D
