This was shown on a plane I was on - usually you watch the in-flight movie to the end as there's not all that much to do. With this one - I just couldn't. Sorry, might be ok if this is your first chick-flick ever (even for a chick movie it is dreadful) or if you're thirteen. As for my opinion the acting was dreadful, the conversation terrible, the script forseeable (even for a chick-flick) and just no point to the movie. I usually like chick-flicks for light entertainment - here the entertainment was missing (towards the end most of the passengers had tossed their headsets)... Would give it NO STARS if possible.

This is a film designed to entertain, the characters are 2 dimensional and unsympathetic, don't interact well and serve only to move the story from one scene to another. That said, it is enjoyable enough and didn't make me want to gouge my eyes out. If you want an unplanned pregnancy flick with depth and heart buy Juno. If you just want to laugh, buy this. i

i watched it by chance on a saturday night on Channel 5 as they were replaying it... somehow i started to watch it all the time, got addicted to it to the point i had to watch it no matter what Now i own all the 3 season, about to get the 4th... I have never loved a program so much... i love the characters,,they grow on you and there aren't too many of them so you really get to know them well... you'll love them all. Best show ever for me!

Initially I was put off watching Grey'a Anatomy due to the fact that it is a medical drama and I am incredibly squeamish! However, having received the season 1 boxset as a present, I decided to give it a go and as soon as episode 1 had finished I was enthralled. Despite it being set in a hospital, this series also concentrates on the relationships between the interns. The characters are just really likeable which makes the viewer actually care about what happens in their lives which I feel makes the series successful. I now love Grey's Anatomy and have watched every episode almost back to back for the last two days and cannot wait to buy series 2 so I can have another marathon Grey's Anatomy viewing! Greys's anatomy season 3 is amazing a ride full of twist, laughs and thrills. outdoes every season so far. Great stories and titles. New characters excellent twist. Each episode leaves you gasping for more 5/5 the best programme ever on TV :)

I started watching this series because one advert looked amazing. So I bought the first season box set, and the first episode made me realise how great this is. So I completed my collection, and bought five of the ten books (I can't get hold of the other five), and have asked for the soundtrack on my birthday list. I am hooked. This will not be a waste of money, I can assure you.

I was very disappointed with season 3. The previous season ended very well, with quite a gripping storyline and climax, but from the start season 3 seemed to just turn into a soap opera. There are some good storylines, but generally it seems to meander through a bunch of tedious relationship dramas which have little to do with the more individual themes of the series.

Romantic comedies rise and fall on the chemistry of the two leads. Thankfully then for '27 Dresses' the cast is well catered for with the excellent Katherine Heigl as the lead and James Marsden as the charismatic love interest. Heigl plays Jane a woman who has become so adept at being a maid of honour that she has been a bridesmaid 27 times. Marsden plays Kevin a journalist who meets Jane by chance at a wedding; he sees in her a potential story about a woman who is always a bridesmaid never a bride. They instantly dislike one another but they are forced to get along when Jane's sister falls for Jane's boss and they plan to wed. The remake of 'Mon Pere Ce Heros' catered for a Hollywood audience and is probably the better known of the two outside the French Speaking world. I prefer the original; blame it on the Mauritian bias but objectively it's true. The original is more flowing and I recommend watching it before the remake. This was recently issued in France on DVD under the title "Mon Père Ce Héros". When I bought it, I imagined it to be a film where Gérard Depardieu takes his daughter on holiday to Mauritius ( a film which I had seen and enjoyed several years ago ). What was my surprise when they ended up in the Bahamas, and the daughter wasn't the same actress as I had seen originally. On checking, I find that this is a remake of the original film. There is so much to like about Roswell, that you can watch the series over and over again. I have all three boxset series on DVD, but the first season is really special for me. I liked all the characters at the Crashdown Cafe: Liz, Max, Maria, Michael, Isabel, Kyle, Sheriff Valenti and all. That's the beauty of the show: the characters, who you come to feel you know as you get caught up in their lives. I especially loved the love story between Liz and Max (played by Shiri Appleby and Jason Behr), which was the inspiration for my song You Touch Me. Fans of the show seem to really like it, they tell me. What makes Roswell different from other teen angst romance like Dawson's Creek is the really scary and spooky at times mix of X-Files-style sci-fi thriller. ... Read More:
