I am a big fan of cecilia ahern so i had read the book of p.s i love you so when i heard the film was coming out i got exited because the book was amazing. I read a review saying that the film was realy sad and to have tisues ready and i thought well the book was amazing so obviously the film wil not be beter, how wrong could i be. Ididnt prepare with any tisues and i watched this on my own and icryed from the start o finish. For people who do not like this film and on one review it says its a ridiculous film they are very wrong and just hve a heart of stone. The Irish acent were a bit poor but that did not effect the amazing story line and the emotion atatched to this. Gerry and Holly are a typical couple who argue and make up over sily things, ... well i think it has to be said there is someting charming about this epic despite a magnitude of flaws that can sink another fleet of titanics, just imagine 2 teenagers taking you on a guided tour of the entire bowels and decks of a huge liner and that too in a frenzy of giggling and weeping alternatively without letting go of each other's hands and you can imagine the inadvertent comic affect that ludicrous image evokes while the ship sinks,

in the middle of all this is the evil stockbroker villain who is the ultimate bad materialistic yankee and has enough bullets to chase and shoot the poor boy lover from wisconsin with a heart of gold ,

we also get to see picassos and monets, not to mention, i could spot degas and goghs ... Read More:

This is a hillariously funny film starring Adam Sandler as Bobby Boucher, a waterboy for an american football team who finds out he has a talent for the sport. This is an amazing performance by Sandler and a great overall film.

I first watched this movie a few years ago now, and loved it. Kathy Bates shines as Annie Wilkes, while James Caan is also good as writer Paul Sheldon. The director has created a thrilling, suspenseful film that keeps you watching to the very end.
However, last week I decided to read the book for the first time and this has ruined the magic of the film slightly for me. The book is simply fantastic. It is a lot darker and more vivid than the film, especially in the 'hobbling' scene, which is different to that featured in the movie.
I would advise people to watch the film before they read the book, because if you do it in reverse order, the film does not live up to the wonder of the novel. But all in all, it is still a strongly recommended ... Read More:

This and Lord of the Rings are the only two movies I have seen in cinema where the audience did a random applause as the closing credits rolled and justifiably so.

From the opening haunting music you know you are in for a great film experiance. It tugs at the heart and makes you feel for the sad loss of so many lives.

This dvd is spread over 4 discs. The first 2 with the feature films with commentaries. The last 2 with great extras such as documentaries, parodies and deleted scenes. I think though like Lord of the Rings the film could have been extended with many deleted scenes included again.

The good news is that this boxset is superb. Written and produced long before the poison that is political correctness pervaded the corridors of the BBC. Grown men swearing, smoking and drinking beer, what on earth were they thinking of? How dare they have opinions on politics and current affairs, let alone express them in public. Absolutely shocking!

The bad news is, that this only highlights all to tragically how poor the later series are. I for one welcomed new characters like Auntie Wainright, but now there are so many incidental characters, that the essential core of the programme that of the three old age delinquents has been almost entirely lost. Much of this is down to the passing of Bill Owen and the largely unsuccessful steps to replace him. But ... Read More:

I LOVED THIS MUSICAL, EVEN THOUGH IT'S A RE-MAKE. YOUR KIDS WILL LOVE THIS FILM! ALICIA MORTON IS BRILLIANT AS ANNIE AND KATHY BATES IS GREAT TOO. WHAT MADE THIS FILM FOR ME ARE THE BEAUTIFUL SONGS, MY FAVOURITE HAS TO BE 'MAYBE'. BUY THIS FILM BECAUSE EVEN THOUGH IT'S A REMAKE IT'S WORTH EVRY PENNY.
