really good twisting thriller that is very entertaining,this is a well acted and well written film that is worth checking out

This is so nearly a great film but just misses the mark ever so slightly. Bad points: Some of the dialogue is a bit laboured ("Shaun, you've got red on you") and the plot's skeleton can be seen through some of the thinner parts of the story. The tone of the ending feels bizarrely jarring with the preceding 90mins and the wooden/dull lead actress really is an odd choice, considering the excellent Jessica Stephenson was on hand. Good points: A British film the not made by Richard Curtis which the UK can be proud of. Genuinely laugh-out-loud funny with excellent performances from Simon Pegg and (best of all) Nick Frost. By the time the same team made Hot Fuzz, they'd really hit their stride.

Quite simply a masterpiece, the greatest comedy I've ever seen. The dialogue, the environment, the characters, the cast, everything is a stroke of genius.

Some people still don't get this. I'm amazed how many people still give me that perplexed glare when I compare the genius of `The Office' with that `Faulty Towers'. `The Office?' they say, as if their long-standing respect for my opinion is suddenly in jeopardy, `but why is it funny? It's just people in an office'. An worthy reflection and précis, no doubt! I'm increasing convinced that people just don't WANT to get it! People just don't want to give undivided attention, absorb every aspect, and conclude for themselves (.e., without the assistance of a studio audience or laughter track) precisely what is and is not funny. The tide of public and media opinion may be turning against Ricky Gervais these days (his constant half-joking boasts being the main problem), but there is no denying that with The Office he produced a work of genius that will be remembered for decades to come. I personally never hated the David Brent character and didn't quite understand 'the boss from hell' tag that he was lumbered with. I saw him as a human being who simply wanted to be loved. By everyone. He just kept making a pig's ear of it. Anyway, the first two series of The Office were superb, but the Christmas Specials took things up a notch or two. sexy rich and powerfull, the footballers wives is a compelling series that has you reaching for the remote and clicking the next episode, if you havent watched footballers wives before i would recommend watching teh first series first as it does follow on and can be confussing to peopel not familiar to the story, great for girly nights in in front of the tv, funny, shocking, sexy and thought provoking enjoy.
