Season 8 of Seinfeld immediately follows on from the story at the end of the previous season finale, where George's fiance Susan Ross dies. He is now single and free but Susan's parents appoint him to help run a charitable foundation in honour of her memory. This means more work and it causes much angst for George in several episodes. Jerry meanwhile continues to meet some unusual characters, both men and women, making his usual observations and no friends along the way. One of my favourite films of all time.I hate when people say it's dated, what do you expect, it was made over forty years ago. It,s a classic sixties movie. The soundtrack is also awesome, took me years to find it on CD and the album stands alone as a great piece of jazz. Pete and Dud, the bizness!!!

Think of "Forbidden Planet" (1956) and you think of Anne Francis. There were space movies before this and after this yet Ann Francis is the definitive space babe. After watching "One Million Years B.C.", Raquel though a little fuzzy will always be in our minds.

This story is the definitive girl meets Dino. It is not all just a fury story there is a script and love involved. Then there are the haps and mishaps of the Shell people Vs the Stone people.

If the pre-historic menagerie looks familiar, with the exception of the iguana, we can thank Ray Harryhausen's talents. This movie is a classic on many levels and should be in your collection.

If you are only interested in fur bikinis, then your next picture should ... Read More:

Please, someone who has this PAL version DVD, tell me what the Aspect Ratio is? Or just, is it Wide Screen or not? I own the NTSC DVD and it's not Wide Screen, but "Pan & Scan" Full Screen. Before I spend for this PAL version, I'd like to know.

Very Much Thanks.

This is a movie that has played tricks in my memory over the years. I first saw this when I was a child, and for some reason recall a much more exciting journey with lots more happenings, including a much longer passing through a beating heart - which doesn't actually happen at all, and so I guess the memory really does play some giant tricks with the passage of time!

I guess many young people may be very critical of this film, since nowadays there are so many much more advanced and sophisticated special effects. However, for its day, this was quite brilliant!

A group of Experts climb into a submarine and are 'miniaturised' and sent on a mission inside a human body to repair some damage to the patient's brain - a fantastic ... Read More:

One of the most notorious films ever made. Adapted from the Gore Vidal novel of the same name, in which a gay man, Myron Breckinridge (Rex Reed), undergoes a sex-change operation before setting of - as Myra Breckinridge - on a mission to Hollywood to "destroy the American male in all its particulars". MYRA BRECKINRIDGE received scathing reviews upon its release in 1970, yet Raquel Welch's performance as the larger-than-life title character is filled with dynamism and vivacity.

Whether belittling Myron's uncle, Buck Loner (played by a ravaged-looking John Huston), in an attempt to inherit a stake in his acting school; conniving with sex-crazed casting agent Leticia Van Allen (Mae West); or even emasculating one of her acting students, in a scene ... Read More:

Some directors should know when they have to stop transforming European or French popular literature into some kind of superficial merry-go-round circus. In this case, even the title is absurd. There has never been in the wide popular conscience of the French any fourth musketeer. These are three even when they are legions. And everyone from seven to seventy-seven knows that the famous three musketeers were four and yet they remain three for all these people. The producer has been very careful to find another title for the French version of this film, of course. A king who is childish and infatuated with his own vanity. A cardinal Richelieu who is vicious and so easily tricked. Fortifications in ruins in the 17th century. A monkey on some roost in Paris. A little bit ... Read More:
