He is now single and free but Susan's parents appoint him to help run a charitable foundation in honour of her memory. This means more work and it causes much angst for George in several episodes. Jerry meanwhile continues to meet some unusual characters, both men and women, making his usual observations and no friends along the way. Kramer is still living off Jerry and getting into mad schemes whereas Elaine becomes the boss at J Peterman's clothing catalogue. Think of "Forbidden Planet" (1956) and you think of Anne Francis. There were space movies before this and after this yet Ann Francis is the definitive space babe. After watching "One Million Years B.C.", Raquel though a little fuzzy will always be in our minds. This story is the definitive girl meets Dino. It is not all just a fury story there is a script and love involved. Then there are the haps and mishaps of the Shell people Vs the Stone people. If the pre-historic menagerie looks familiar, with the exception of the iguana, we can thank Ray Harryhausen's talents. This movie is a classic on many levels and should be in your collection. Please, someone who has this PAL version DVD, tell me what the Aspect Ratio is? Or just, is it Wide Screen or not? I own the NTSC DVD and it's not Wide Screen, but "Pan & Scan" Full Screen. Before I spend for this PAL version, I'd like to know. Very Much Thanks.

This is a movie that has played tricks in my memory over the years. I first saw this when I was a child, and for some reason recall a much more exciting journey with lots more happenings, including a much longer passing through a beating heart - which doesn't actually happen at all, and so I guess the memory really does play some giant tricks with the passage of time! I guess many young people may be very critical of this film, since nowadays there are so many much more advanced and sophisticated special effects. However, for its day, this was quite brilliant!
