Once again sony pictures have released another mess. they have mislabelled the set, rambo 3 is NOT 5.1, it is in fact the same disc that appeared in a previous set that i also own. first set i bought had a faulty rambo 2 disc so i took it back and now i find that the 3rd film is NOT what it is claimed to be. Be totally aware of what you are buying.

The first Rambo is really good. Its original and Sly actually does some good acting. The other two are typical sequals RubbisH. Just buy yourself the Rambo 1. Poor on Extra features aswell.

Brilliant films, easily two of my favourites. But this DVD version is disappointment, How Could They Have Cut the Limo scenes... I thought one of the benefits of DVD was to put more in not take away,

First Blood [Blu-ray] [1982] First Blood is an Cultmovie in oure country (Austria) the Blue Ray Transfer is good, the Picture Quality is 4/5 (if you thinking about that the Movie was relased in 1982) the Sound Qualität is 4/5, but the German Soundtrack is defective and the English Soundtrack comes only with German Subtitles, absolut unbelivible??? i dont need German Subtitles when i want to watch the Movie in English?) the Extras are ok. 3/5. greetings from Austria, Robert Hemetsberger

Good acting, terrific thriller, blah blah blah. The truth is it's very outdated, the acting is over the top, the story, the direction, the characters' situation, the music, everything is so 60's. Only watchable if you're an absolute fan of the 60's or as an historic curiosity.

After renting this DVD following the good reviews on here, I just wanted to stop anyone else wasting an evening watching this utter tosh, as I did. I watched to the bitter end in the vain hope it would eventually get better, and it doesn't. Wooden acting, hammy lines, a desperately over-aged cast that makes the main premise of the plot laughable and a cast of entirely dislikeable, shallow characters, means this is one film I would not recommend anyone to see. Maybe the original, with better cast actors and made in a different era, was quite good. I don't know, I haven't seen it. But for even the most die-hard Harrison Ford fan (and believe me, I like him a lot usually), this is one to miss. How he got through the film without cracking ... Read More:

Cenntennial is at last on DVD, I purchased a multi region player just to wath this series and it is wonderful. By far the best TV series ever. Great acting, super story line - hard to switch off. The series charts the history of a typical area of the US west from 1750's up to the mid 1970's. Gripping viewing. The DVD transfer is super - very clear. I cannot praise this series too highly.

Cenntennial is at last on DVD, I purchased a multi region player just to wath this series and it is wonderful. By far the best TV series ever. Great acting, super story line - hard to switch off. First: It is Blu-Ray and not a cheap copy of the DVD. From movie to movie it gets even better. The sound is well mixed. That means that you are not pushed from your seats when explosions occur. The balance between speach and effects is perfect. Except of the fourth part "John Rambo" you have nearly no extras. Only one interview with Sly, but this is worth a look. Of course there are no cuts. You can enjoy the complete movies. This is interesting for german costumers. They also find the uncut german-version on this. Very nice. Good quality, price is fair. Clear recommandation!
