DVD : The Rapture [1991] (REGION 1) (NTSC)
this really is a one-off - all the way through it i kept asking, out loud, 'who on earth put up the money for this?' it feels like about 5 different films all put togehter - it starts out like some made-for-tv straight-to-dvd softporn movie, then turns into what appears to be a religious film, then gets very dark indeed, & then turns into something else again, & the ending really is unforgettable.

who on earth put up the money for this? well done whoever it was.

DVD : Evil Never Sleeps [1995]
Evil Never Sleeps follows Olive (Heather Graham) who witnessed her husband violently kill her lover, then commit suicide. Olive never really recovered from the ordeal and ends up spending her time picking up random men at bars. Sadly the movie doesn't really offer anything to make me recommend it to you. Sure it stars Heather Graham who is quite a good actress but even her performance in Evil Never Sleeps is less than inspiring. To tell you the truth I found the movie unusually boring and pretty much a waste of time and money. This is one to avoid and is destined to be found in the bargain bins of local stores.
