Firstly, i'm a guy, and although i'm not aversed to the rom-com, i prefer the "blow things up" catagory. Nevertheless, my girlfriend and i got this and watched it on DVD last night and i have to say, WHAT A FANTASTIC FILM.

It's interesting, insightful, funny. I think i spent a lot of time on the edge of the sofa, interested to what happens next. No Spoiler here, but the end is how films should finish. I finished watching this film and instantly all i wanted to do was watch it again.

If you want a great film that you could probably watch a number of times and never get bored, BUY THIS FILM.

ohh and if you are a guy, the presence of Isla Fisher and Rachel Wiesz is never going to be a bad thing.

I just watched Blade Trinity again, and again it shows just how brilliant the first two films were. Wesley Snipes is perfect as Blade and both of the first films have some of the best fighting scenes in this type of film. Trinity, I'm afraid is a poor imitation of the first two. A shame but still five stars overall.

Not many words needed:

Be warned: You may throw up during this movie!

Those under fifteen are not permittted to watch it (thank good), and I STRONGLY advice everybody else not to. If you for some abnormal reason find it funny watching guys eating huge ammounts of warm dogs semen, you may have my copy, but hurry its allready in the garbage.

Give us "Three guys, a girl and a pizza place" now!

Its just a good fun movie. Easy to watch. Very funny.

Ok, this is not "Casino Royale" or "Goodfellas". But it's the kind of fun you get from a movie like "Crank". Strong clichéd characters (yes, I think that's a good thing), great shooting scenes and a solid pace to the all plot.
I'm even going to say an heresy: it reminds me Tarantino! It clearly doesn't deserve the 3 stars rating that's getting now here on amazon. Its better than that. Of course, if your looking for a Visconti here you'll be terribly disappointed. I liked it and there's a chance many of you will like too. So don't be put off by the low rating reviews and give it a go. Enjoy!

This film starts out being so gross and obtuse that you just sit there thinking " I hope the rest of it doesn't rely on this disgusting and pointless humour." Then after about half an hour or so you get to know a bit more about the characters and how they interact and gradually the gross humour seems natural and unforced and like a dialect that is as valid as any other. And the ending will leave you smiling for a long, long time. You won't eat at a restaurant for a long, long time after though. Many sexual references and lots of foul language.Definitely a certificate PG - Papal Guidance required!

The original Amityville Horror is the ultimate in haunted house horror films, so I thought "how could they remake such a classic and make it work?", well I rented it this weekend and was pleasantly surprised that it was actually not a bad remake at all.

The story is about a family who gets murdered when one of them gets possessed and a year later a new family move in after getting the house cheaply because of its past. After just a day or so weird things start happening in the house such as blood dripping from the walls and taps, the young girl having a new imaginary friend, who is actually a ghost and strange noises coming from the basement.

Although it isn't as scary or as atmospheric as the original it still has enough jumpy moments ... Read More:

I'm not American, and I'm not a bloke who like's sports. In fact I am a woman who generally prefers figure-skating to Ice Hockey. And yet I loved this movie. Originally it was one of a handful of rentals in a Dvd shop that we wouldn't have bothered with if there was anything else we would have thought worth watching; and that would've been a mistake. This movie made me laugh and cry in equal measures, and I found I held my breath in the way male friends assure me they do just before their home team scores a goal a few minutes towards the end of the match. A sweet and pleasant movie, best watched a cold wet sunday whilst curled up under a blanket. Not to be missed.

To be honest, I never thought any of the Blade films were triumphs of cinematic excellence, and so the story continues with this third installment of the series. Personally, I think it's an improvement on Blade II, some better characters joining in Blade, and an intersting take on Dracula. Ok, so he doesn't have a cape and flap about biting nubile virgins which is a shame, but it's original to portray him as an - albeit pretty nasty - ancient warrior, but with a sense of honour for other great warriors (guess who we're talking about here folks).

So why something for the ladies? Well, a female friend of mine is in lust with Ryan Reynolds, so no doubt she appreciated the long spells of him topless in this film. Plus, he does get all the best lines in the ... Read More:

it's not often that i say this but this was an awfully funny film!Ryan and Anna together particularly actually made me cackle out loud for ages!Pretty predictable but it didn't actually matter! so so witty, including the toothpaste scene- watch out for it and the end credits!Ryan Reynolds has really gone up in my good books as being a great actor and I'm glad I have been able to change my opinion.

I was rather dissapointed with this offering. The episodes lacked depth and mood, and some of my favorite episodes are on the other series, such as 'Worlds Apart' and 'Inconsistant Moon'. There's less of the other-worlds of the original series, with mainly just Mars if any off-planet at all, contrast that with the original series, being more adventurous and going anywhere they like in the universe to stage the shows. I don't think I'd bother with the other new series if they come out, but see what's on the second series of the original. As like the original, a 'Best of the Outer Limits' is what's needed in my opinion, although they won't make so much money on that, it would be value. The episodes are watchable though, but the original series left it's mark on my conciousness, ... Read More:
