Overall starts out well... good plot-line unravels... Only real similarities this flick has with Ninja Scroll is that the main character in both movies is called Jubei... and he kind of dresses similar too.. other than that.. two whole different storylines... Anyways, you get to the most interesting and bloodiest bit... and then... Wham..! end of movie.... awwrr...

Definitely worth a rental... preferably at the same time as when the sequel to this eventually comes out... so you're not left yearning... lol... but I personally don't think its worth a purchase... would rather recommend Ninja Scroll or Vampire Hunter D - Bloodlust...

I've said before in some of my other reviews (not only ones on amazon, but elsewhere too) that I'm not a big fan of anything that's romance related or slightly gushy, but DNAngel really did cut to the core of me. In a good way though.

The animation is nice and clean without too much repitition, character design is accurate to that of the manga and each episode has a nice story to it, wether it be stand alone or in with the overall story.

It can be kind of confusing sometimes but it's easy to get your head back on track with what's going on, so you're not exactly going to loose all the plot by not understanding something as you should.

The chracters are fantastic also. Daisuke is adorable and clumsy and quite ... Read More:

DVD : El El Hazard: The Magnificent World DVD Box Set (REGION 1) (NTSC)
This is possible the most engrossing story any anime writer has ever come up with. The story of real people being pulled into another dimention is always good, by which all the normal boundries of reality can be pushed aside. This anime then makes another great move and add's comedy to the mix that will greatly appeal to anyone.
The story follow's a young boy named "Makoto", 2 disfunctional sibling named "Nanami" and "Jinnai", and there homeroom teacher "Mr Fujisawa". Upon there arrival in the world of El Hazard they meet many new friends which make up the principle cast of the show before all manner of hilarious events begin to unfold. But that's enough about the story as i want you to watch this.
