DVD : Ben 10: Race Against Time [2007] (REGION 1) (NTSC)
My 6 year old nephew always insists that I watch Ben 10 with him and somehow I got hooked on this series. TV today is boring as hell and attempts to talk down to its younger audience but Ben 10 is exactly how TV used to be when I was growing up in the mid 80's - mid 90's. Good and fun to watch with an edge. Ben 10 then spawned this TV movie which impresses beyond expectation combining great CGI effects with real actors. This would make a great addition should they decide to release a complete collection box set. Hope this was helpful.

Im one of those that watched the cartoon and dragged my dad along to the first film and i really liked the second. The third, i seemed to avoid, dont remember why! Anyway here are 2&3 (wouldnt a 3 dvd set of all 3 been better?!), the second is very much a continuation of the 1st with Shredder returning and the usual comedy and action. Not sure why there was the need to get a new April O'Neil, but the new one is cuter anyway!. The third is a time travel type film, delving into Japanese samurai history. Another change in this one, is an inferior voice replacement for Splinter, i dont know why they felt the need to do that but there you go, good to see Casey Jones back from the 1st film. If you are a fan - buy, if you're kids are just gettin into ... Read More:

A great film which I really enjoyed after buying it for my dad's birthday after recently buying the pinball. It was great fun to hear the quotes from it in the film.

It was a most unusual film that is very original from my point of view.

A good watch for people who want to see something unusual.

A good film, a bit boring and slow to start, once half way through it gets a little more exciting but it isn't to the end where you find out who really killed the girl...

DVD : Samurai Jack: The Complete Seasons 1-3 [2001] (REGION 1) (NTSC)
I have only been able to watch bits and pieces of Samurai Jack and therefore had no idea what order any of the episodes were in.

Jack is (obviously) a Samurai, who in the long ago and far away was always doing battle with the evil 'aku.' During their battle Aku threw Jack into a time portal and sent him into the future. With no Jack left, Aku took over the 'present' and the story picks up with Jack in the future, where Aku's evil rules all. Jacks mission - to find a time portal to send him back to the past and defeat Aku once and for all.

The animation used in this series is often simple but very effective and there are also some episodes where there are some truly stunning sequences (see the episode with the shinobi, the one ... Read More:

I like this movie, a real good chill-out movie with some kung-fu like action and guns a plently. The story is simple, a gang of hit-men kidapp this young girl from a bankurpt man though they don't know that the girl is the granddaughter of their boss! Choas eruppts as one turns against them and wants the person who did the dirty deed dead. Mark Walhberg is at his hottest, showing off that chest and looking mightly fine as the love intrest for the kidapped girl. Full-on action and some funny moments, it's worth taking a look.

Many people hate this movie, but I love it! But not because of the plot, but because of the sheer comedic nature of the film. Ok, the turtle costumes are very poor in this one compared to the previous two. The villain is by far not as good as Shredder, but I still think that Walker is an ace baddie! But as I said before, this movie is all about the comedy, and I would definately reccomend it to anyone who wants to see a really funny TMNT movie.

My MBA lecturer always told me that succesful management must always incorporate culture. The work ethic of the average American is promoted by this film, where Japanese corporate values of teamwork and unified corporate vision is displayed in the climatic episode during the struggle of blue collar labor. The universal morals and ethics involved in competition is further dwelt upon by the producers involvement of team softball. Piting the Japanese verse the Americans, where the Americas display zealous competitive attitude while the Japanese focus on team work and organization skills as reflected by their family and corporate culture.
