Having watched this photoplay of one of the great, yet little known, people of history, I was left to wonder if the film could have been any better. Having watched it again a dozen times, each time more critically, I am left to answer unequivocally "no". The plot, the casting, the effects, the script, the production; everything. It's "all good." Set in two worlds, "Longitude" sets out to depict the lives of two men: the first is John Harrison, maker of the first correct timepiece for use at sea, struggling with the Board of Longitude re the recognition of his work. A Great Tilogy of films that i had only seen since watching Die Hard 4.0 or Live Free, Die Hard depending on what you think the title is. and i have so far yet to watch DH2: Die Harder and DH3: Die Hard with a Vengeance. but judging from Die Hard - I won't be dissapointed. Anyway hoping to get Die Hard 4.0 soon and have a Die Hard Marathon.

In particular, Die Hard: With A Vengeance, which is actually the 15 certificate UK edit, despite this whole package carrying an 18 certificate. The odd cut here and there to tone the violence down doesn't usually bother me that much, but in this UK release, there's some very clumsy splicing and dubbing used to make the violence and language acceptable for those poor British 15-17 year-olds who would clearly be mortally offended by such things. If you want to see the proper Die Hard: With A Vengeance movie, get the Region 1 [NTSC] version.

I have a 32'' HDI T.V with surround sound & this box set plays pretty good on it. No, it's not the best quality but, for the price, what do you expect? If you want 100% excellent quality, by blue-ray DVDS. On my T.V these films sound great & looked pretty good in terms of the picture's quality. The reviewer below is just nit-picking, if you ask me. Also Andy, before you leave a review, learn to spell!

quadrilogy blu-ray is region A coded ie U.S.A players.. difficult to import, Amazon wont export them, & remember they're 110 volts if u can get one. So .. yet again the rest of the world gets screwed on blu ray, & even the stuff that actually is available on region 2 or all regions, costs at least 50 pct more than the USA releases. Id swap the HD if there were more than like 5 films worth watching on the format.... The die hard films are a lot of fun tho, rent the single copy releases & have a good laugh.
