All I can say is - brilliant! Great script and acting. Not subtle humour and mainly of sexual nature but it is witty and the exaggeration of various male vs female psychological nuances makes it hilarious... and true! I would say it's an equally great viewing for both men and women. My personal favourite is "lost in translation" affair between Jeff and a stunning foreigner.

I love Tamsin Greig. I love Mac. I love this.

Green Wing to me is just one of the most perfect comedies out there. The comic timing is unbelievable, and the cast is one of the strongest I've ever seen.

Long Live Green Wing.

Season 8 of Seinfeld immediately follows on from the story at the end of the previous season finale, where George's fiance Susan Ross dies. He is now single and free but Susan's parents appoint him to help run a charitable foundation in honour of her memory. This means more work and it causes much angst for George in several episodes. Jerry meanwhile continues to meet some unusual characters, both men and women, making his usual observations and no friends along the way. Kramer is still living off Jerry and getting into mad schemes whereas Elaine becomes the boss at J Peterman's clothing catalogue.

This season was made after the departure of Larry David leaving Jerry Seinfeld to convey more of his own impression on the show. At first ... Read More:

Great picture quality, obviously.. but a fantastic series.

If you like Meet The Parents/Fockers or Just Married, this is for you.

With a bit of Britishness.

Now that another box set is out containing everything here AND the Christmas specials, this DVD is now a pointless purchase.

The show itself is fantastic.

It is so often the last minute present from Amazon that turns up trumps. Thinking back to last Christmas this was the one DVD out of the four or five box sets that I received that had me laughing out loud by Boxing Day. Whilst series like Little Britain generate maximum hype, 'Worst Week' in general across two seasons- along with this special- often slips under the wire. What? Slapstick? That daft Miller fella and her from Coupling? But there's some great stuff here and Sarah Alexander and Ben Miller do a sound job. In fact you'd go a long long way to better the superbly timed delivery of Geoffrey Whitehead. His dead pan characterisation of Mel's Dad-judge 'Dick Cook'- had me hurting with laughter. Forget some of the posturing sketch comedy we laud as 'Britain's ... Read More:

This is a very funny film with a number of excellent set pieces, such as the scenes with the dog and the police interrogation scene. It is not a film for the prudish, but the gross moments are very few, though well known.

It also features the beautiful Cameron Diaz and that is another majopr attraction of this film.

But there is also sympathy for the main character, her would be lover, a decent chap, and his difficulties before reaching his goal.

Matt Dillon as the sleazy PI is also on fine form.

Bought this for a bargain price and for 3 plus hours of class comedy this is great-I laughed all the way through.
I really hope that the earlier 3 series all get released as well-these chaps are two of my favourite actors.
Worth it for the scenes of the divine Ms Sarah Alexander on her bicycle in "Nude Practice" alone! Oo-er, missus!

Alas, while the first series delivered a standard of comedy that endured throughout every episode, the second series - delivered as a lampoon of "Tomorrow's World" fails on far too many counts. When the series starts recycling jokes from the first series and ruins them (i.e. "Thanks ants... Thants" gets repeated each and every episode until you're fed up with it). Somehow the silliness and tomfoolery fail to raise a smile, and where the first series fooled the viewer into thinking this might all be for real, here no such doubts exist. So, stick with the first series and enjoy it. Somehow, watching the second series comes off less funny than your second read through of the Teletext page extras on the first series DVD.
