The show is even better than I remembered, but beware of the extras, some of them contain spoilers, so save them for the end of each season.

Probably not a film to invite you friends round to see as it is not a teen movie or a romcom. However it is a good film that I will watch again. The 2 leads are very good in a story about a young woman embarking on a relationship with an older man. It also has an excellent soundtrack.

wow!so much better then the first film!for starts the characters act more like the orginal characters,Velma is more geeky,fred is less vein more matcho,Daphne is less like buffy the vampier slayer however she still has another fight scean!Daphne would never fight with a monster she would probabily get kidnapped by it.shaggy and scooby where excellent as they where in the first movie.the story is very good it makes me feel like im watching a classic scooby doo cartoon.a must for any scooby fan!

Many of us followed buffy anne summers battle vampires, zombies, warewolves and other blood sucking creatures for the past 7 years but now its finaly over (well in 2003 of course). contains all 22 episodes but this is the finale ever season of the show. the most important is the finale episode (chosen) the show ends with a bang, 2 main characters get killed of (anya and spike). buffy is not the slayer anymore in the end so she can relax while another girl takes over as the slayer. angel returns for a brief moment. so i sugest you if your new watch all 6 seasons of buffy and then watch this finale season 7 of the show. get your hankies out at the ready. Buffy will be missed.

I can see this getting the same plaudits (from those who lambasted it first time round, no doubt) in 20 years time as Gilliam's 'Brazil'. An utterly non-conformist, anti-hollywood, anti-film film. Watching it is like turning up at a crime scene. It doesn't make sense until you begin to sift and investigate the minutae. It makes YOU work very hard for any satisfaction and even then, when you think you have a hold of the thing, it will turn round and slap you between the eyes. Brilliantly flawed, simultaneously profound and completely farcical (there are moments of great comic writing here, brought to cringing life by a cast as diverse as the ideas on show). Dissapointing. The story was nowhere near as good as the cartoons. Also, the film tries too hard with special effects. Some of it was quite funny and Scooby and Shaggy were still funny. I felt Rowan Atkinson could have been more involved. A good family film but nothing on the cartoons

So there I was, waiting for the movies to start, I mean I was seeing Scooby Doo THE MOVIE! with sarah-michelle gellar!! Woo Hoo. And then it started (with a slight cheer from the audience)and I was pleased, VERY PLEASED , i mean the movie was exactly what i could have hoped for! While there were somethings that didn't quite please me, this was a damn good film! For me I liked the t.v. show, but wasn't the biggest fan, and i could see that this film could please both, the effects were good, had good acting a good storyline, and the end is just SOOOO GREAT a complete classic! But not everyone will like it. You have to relize it's a childrens film! I found this series rather disappointing. Whilst the first 3 (especially the 3rd season) were all tremendous and series 4 was thoroughly enjoyable this one is much darker. As a personal preference I like a big dollop of humour in buffy and in this season there's a distinct lack of humour. Some of the episodes are great but I found Dawn so irritating in this that she marred a great deal of it and the misery of Joyce Summers' death, although portrayed very well (particularly interesting is listening to Joss Whedon's commentary), made for a rather dismal season. Glory is a great villain and Spike's character is really starting to develope but it lacks the sparkle, fun and much of the shock factor of previous seasons.

When Joss was away the writers got to play, and unfortunately rode off on personal hobbyhorses such as James Bond-ish covert units and a "non-dark" boyfriend for Buffy. Add to these a Frankenstein rip-off and you get a mish-mosh of a season with such a confused arc that the last episode seems to exist just to say "Don't worry, we'll have more interesting storylines next season". That said, bringing back Spike and Anya and introducing Tara more than makes up for the cast members lost and makes possible most of the main threads in the arcs of the final three seasons. Making her way through this soup, Sarah Michelle Gellar must have decided it was "sink or swim" and gave her best overall performance of any season.
