I bought this film under the impression that it was great film, how wrong I was. The acting is wooden, the people seem like they are enjoying being stuck in a mall full of dead caniballs. The zombies make-up is appalling, they look crap, and the film is over 2 hours long, making it unbearable to watch. Avoid this trash at all costs and watch the remake as it is 100 times better.

DVD : Day Of The Dead / Dawn Of The Dead (Box Set) (DVD) [1985]
Along with Dawn of the dead i think this is one of the best zombie movies around. The movies still portray zombies as slow idiots who walk around making aimless noises which i believe is the best thing anyway. In the movie "Day of the Dead" the zombies are quite scary but still quite slow although they do kind of have a bit of thinking brain left, whereas in "Dawn of the Dead" the zombies are very slow and very weak and get tricked easily (its a classic) If you like shopping malls and gore then "Day of the Dead" and "Dawn of the Dead" are the films for you, great price for great classic zombie films
