I, like many people, am becoming a huge fan of Del Toro's work both in English and Spanish and having really enjoyed the first Hellboy was excited about seeing this sequel.

I saw it twice in the cinema, once in London in a special preview screening and again back at home on it's last night - and was completely bowled over both times. For someone like me who watched Ray Harryhausen creatures slugging it out on TV as a kid with his jaw open - this movie is a dream come true, Del Toro has just unlatched the top of his head and spilled his imagination onto celluloid and the result is amazing. I really liked the first one, but I love this one!

The reason I gave this review the title I did was because I can see that for some ... Read More:

Family guy started off as very good, but since season 4 it has gone very much down hill & this season now with more swearing, not really necessary, containing this is a new low, to me does not count as humour, there are some amusing moments, hence my 2 star rating, the Gene Kelly scene which was done very well cleverly, replacing Jerry the mouse with Stewie, but overall this cartoon, like The Simpsons, is running out of really funny, sarcastic, jokes, for what I would call toilet humour, which we are getting far too much of nowadays, & when you reach this you are finished. I will buy season 7, to see if it has improved, but only at a good price & I will not rush into buying it, but overall stick to seasons 1,2 & 3 for the best of this ... Read More:

I seriously doubt that I have to take the time to explain what Family Guy is, as the chances are that you - like so many others are a fan, or at the very least have seen some episodes.

In my opinion this second season of Family Guy considerably improves on the first, which is not something that's easy to do as season one was nothing less than fantastic. But Family Guy season two is packed to bursting point with hilarious and sometimes outrageous jokes. Seth MacFarlane never fails to deliver pure comical entertainment. It's good to be given a daring show that not afraid of offending people (on that note if your easily offended then you probably should avoid Family Guy.) I would have to say the best episode in the season is "Let's go to the ... Read More:

After finally convincing my brother to watch an episode of Family Guy, infuriatingly it turned out to be this one. It's really not up to the standard I've come to expect of the series' writers, it was pretty lame, really, obviously written by Star Wars fans for Star Wars fans. Now he refuses to watch it at all and thinks I'm daft for liking it. Crud.

Family Guy created by Seth MacFarlane is an animated television show which is based in the fictional town of Quahog. The show follows the Griffin family comprising of Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, Stewie and their dog Brian. Not to forget a whole host of neighbours that live along side them on Spooner Street.

I was very eager to watch the fifth season of Family Guy after the brilliant forth season (of which I've still to review, but I never seem to review anything in order these days.) But unfortunately I feel that this is the weakest link of the Family Guy Saga. They say things get better with age but perhaps this is Family Guys midlife crisis, where the episodes are simply not at their best. The comedy formula is a difficult one to get right, but ... Well I've never been a massive Family Guy fan but I have always liked the programme I thought it was funny and original. But it seems to be losing it's creativity originality and comedy moments that made it so great on the first 3 seasons.

Now it has become excactly like "The Simpsons" (still better though). The episodes are good but not up to Family Guy standards, they all have funny moment but I feel like they've done it all before got it off some other good tv animated show. Aswell I think it's really stupid Family Guy fans trying to be cool and bashing the The Simpsons 1. It doesn't really matter & 2. There both as bad as each other. It seems that most programmes that become really popular just get lazy in their writting and continue ... Read More:

As good as the first 2 series.I enjoyed it more after repeated viewings and it grew on me as i missed some of the jokes 1st time around.
I think American Dad is a bit cleverer than Family Guy and obviously more political but Family Guy is still the best IMO.
The Magnificent Steven is my favourite episode and i would have given this dvd 4 1/2* and not 5* if i could but wanted to boost the overall rating.

this film couldn't be more crap. they should have made extra episodes instead of this piece of crap its basicly old stuffed, stuffed into the amout of 3 episodes. they should have waited until around the sixth series and released a better version in the cinema.
