Convoy is a tale of three truckers who defy a corrupt backwater sheriff and end up becoming a national cause celebre. On the run from the authorities, they cross several states and in doing so gather huge support - eventually leading to a horizon full of trucks in their wake.

The film is watchable and fun at times. It wouldn't win any awards, but it did have a long-lasting social appeal as it played a part in popularising CB radio in the UK (thus ushering in the era of silver rods on every second council house across the land).

The film is peppered with CB jargon. It also has an all star soundtrack - such as Kenny Rogers, Crystal Gayle, Billie Jo Spears, Merle Haggard and Glen Campbell (however, in practice, the music ... Read More:

I found this film on VHS in my local bargain bin for £2, being a sort of on the spot compulsive buyer, I went for it.

As soon as 'Making Time' by Creation came on during the opening montage i knew i was going to love this film. The characters and interplay between them is superb (my particular favourite is the awkwardness between Ms.Cross and Max Fischer) and in my opinion, this is Bill Murray at his best (even better than lost in translation which I thought was brilliant).

The soundtrack is great, even the smallest cameos are well performed, and the director's idiosyncratic style shines through; if anything with more swagger and fun than any of his other films I've seen.

Perhaps not that well-known, but a really nice film- really heartwarming. Typical Disney in many ways, White Fang sets its own pace and gently eases you into what is a lovely story about a young man's adventure into the unknown. A great story, well acted, superbly shot- all in all a nice film. I'd definitely recommend it. Just be aware of some hairy dog-fights though!

i havent cried so much since 'bridges of madison county', it really got to me this film, it was brilliantly acted and i could see the scenario, not so much the one night thing, but the aftermath being experienced in modern day society. How the characters changed and started to interact less with each other really upset me, You have to watch this film!!

This film was recommended to me by a friend, and I was really not expecting that much from it. However, the film is a real gem. The setting and style are beautifully realised and it feels very of the time, the acting from Dreyfuss and DeVito also works well as a double act and one cannot help becoming caught up in the events.
Very enjoyable.

I read the book and thought it was brilliantly written, one gripe was that the Don was like a poet constantly coming up with sayings. Apart from that the book had everything. I was a bit worried about watching this but i can safely say that the film has done the book justice.

I need to write seperatley about the acting in the film as it was magnificent particulary Joe Mantega and Jason Gedrick, both playing lead roles very well. Don Clericuzio played by Danny Aiello whose performance although very good, i felt someone else could have played the part better. His daughter Rosemary is played by two people one at a young age and one when she goes crazy. When she goes crazy shes played by Kirstie Alley from look whos talking. Theres a good supporting ... I normally hate so-called "funny" movies. I just don't find them funny at all. Stuck on you, though, had me in tears of laughter from the first scene and I had a sore stomach from laughing at the end. Having Greg Kinnear in one of the leading roles and I am sold. I loved his character in As Good As It Gets - he is the funniest guy and whenever I see his face i crack up! Matt Damon is not quite as funny but with his amazing acting he is great in this role. I doubt that this film would have been as funny with any other actors in these roles. There was fantastic chemistry between the two.
This film was a perfect mix of childish funny and clever funny - I was blown away by the clever choreography when the two twins fight, dance etc. Also subtle and funny use of ... Read More:

This is quite possibly the best film I've seen all year. It's simple straight forward fun to watch, great story and all the actors, especially the older guys, give a lovely performace. If you want to feel good SEE THIS MOVIE, it's a must. p.s. the Wilson Bros are their usual brilliat selves.
