After reading negative reviews I was apprehensive about buying this DVD. However, I'm glad I eventually succumbed as it's really enjoyable and a great way of reliving the 2008 Grand Slam in around 2 hours. It contains highlights of the 5 matches with commentary, interviews with the players and footage from the locker room. Gatland and Edwards are interviewed numerous times and Shane Williams gives his perspective and talks us through his tries after each match. A great package!

Douglas Sirk is probably one of the best Directors ever to walk the grounds of Hollywood! In this film, he skillfully puts together one of the most magical couples in celluloid, Hudson and Wyman. A true textbook melodrama, Sirk has the hability to take it to the boundaries of kitsch, but without ever crossing it, maintaining "good taste" all the way through!. A must see, like any movie these 3 (Sirk, Wyamn and Hudson) ever made together!

This is shooter, a stalker and a top piece of all out action cinema. It's very entertaining, tense and full of destruction. This delivers very, very well indeed.

DVD : Black Eagle [1988]
Playing a cross between James Bond and Jackie Chan, Sho Kosugi is likable enough, but unlike Jackie when he does a stunt the camera is too far away from him and it's hard to know if he is doubled or not (if you stick around for the end credits, you'll discover that he WAS doubled on at least two occasions), and unlike Bond the action of the movie is limited to one location (Malta) most of the time, plus there isn't too much of it. Jean Claude Van Damme makes an awesome villain, but his two major showdowns with Kosugi are rather disappointing. In the role of a female CIA agent, Doran Clark handles her two opportunities for action capably - she should have gotten more. The funniest thing about this film is that Kosugi shows little chemistry with his ... Read More:

DVD : Hawk The Slayer [1980]
I remember this film from when I was a kid. IT IS GENIUS!!!!!

The all time great Bernard Breslaw as the giant/barbarian and the perpetually evil Jack Palance as the evil VOLTAN, Hawk's older brother... with a moody elf called CROW. There is even a scene where the magic special effect is silly string. Can you really ask for more from an early 80s sci-fi film? There is the standard witty banter between characters and the evil is the most evil of evil.

This film is a must for those who grew up in the 80s and those who need to know what little we had to get us through.

I also recommend KRULL, FLASH GORDON & LABYRINTH

...The ending was so incredibly abrupt. You can tell that they either cut it, or ran outta ideas near the end of the script. it's still mildly entertaining if you forget about the horrible ending.
