I didnt exactly have any high hopes when I started watching this. In fact I thought it was a childrens movie and the only reason I wanted to see it was because Sarah Lancashire is in it and shes according to me one of the best actresses ever. Now I've never read the book so I cant speak for it BUT this is no childrens movie. Not that young people cant watch it I just think you have to be a little older to apperciate it. This movie is about england after World War Two,or at least in the end of it. Its about how hard it was for the children to come back home when they'd been living in America for years and for the men coming back to their wifes who had changed some...
