Monk - still crazy after all these seasons. And, let's face it, there have been two or three too many. Bitty Schram's sudden departure (apparently because she was paid less than everyone else) midway through season three ripped the heart out of the show, and the basic dynamics between the central characters have never worked since. Traylor "Trash" Howard (probably not her real nickname) just doesn't compare.

Season six is fine, just as adequate as the previous two. There are some decent celebrity cameos from Sarah Silverman (reprising her role as Adrian's obsessed number one fan), Snoop Dogg (yes, Snoop Dogg) and Alfred Molina. There's also a little bit of long-awaited progress in the overarching plot. But there's far too ... Read More:

I endorse the remarks of another reviewer. I have the first three seasons of the Golden Girls (1 - 3). Are we in Europe (specifically the UK) to be forever denied the remaining sessions of the Golden Girls (i.e. Seasons 4 - 7) in European Regional format 2. We loved the whole series when they were first broadcast here on TV, but what a shame we cannot enjoy seeing them again - and all because of an archaic trade restricting Regional Code system. Come on Disney! The Golden Girls went out on TV screens 20 years ago, there surely can be no earthly reason to restrict world wide distribution any longer! Release them on Regional Format 0 (ZERO) so everyone can enjoy seeing the Golden Girls again in the home.

I bought this for 99p with three other films (a 4 films on 2 dvds pack), the other films were JET, THE LAST LINE OF DEFENSE and STORM and I have those to watch yet.

I decided to watch this today and I went in with low expectations - not expecting brilliant acting, special effects etc. Luckily it was pretty good for the price I paid for it.

Yes the plot we have seen countless times before in Die Hard, Under Siege (which is very similar to this) but another terrorist film can't hurt can it?

The story is: Rob Lowe is working all the time and hardly see's his wife (who is annoyed) and decides to go on a cruise ship with a Greek student (who has teacher's pet/creep written all over him. Rob Lowe finds this out and ... Read More:

I blew it. I didn't start watching this show until it's second season. Little did I know what I was missing.

Tony Shalhoub stars as Adrian Monk, a former police detective no longer on the force because of his obsessive-compulsive disorder and his phobias. He does still consult on some of their most bizarre cases, however. For example, how could an 800-lb. man commit murder? Why was a billionaire killed while mugging a man on a date? Did a fellow airline passenger really kill his wife? How could a man commit murder and run a marathon at the same time?

This series falls into the classic puzzle mystery genre, my personal favorite. Sometimes I have an idea why or how, but it takes the ending for me to know for sure. More often then ... Read More:
