How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, possibly one of my favourite movies - it will make you laugh out loud and make you feel good for a long time after watching it. Although possibly a far fetched story line, it has good morals, is believeable and the characters make you fall in love with them from the beginning. Enough said - go and watch it!
Sliding Doors - It has been a while since I last saw this movie, purely because I find Gwenyth Paltrow so wet and annoying. The story line is good and puts raises a lot of questions - what if?? Definitely watch this one especially if you don't find Gwenyth Paltrow as irritating as I do.
Ghost - an absolute classic if, a bit dated. Brilliantly cast, Whoopi Goldberg steals the show in this movie that ... Read More:

After what was a disapointing 4th series with practically no advancement in the Trudi case it was good to see some mentions of her death again in the first few episodes. Having said that though it appeared that the case still has'nt moved on an inch from where it was left in series 2?
What worries me is that Monk can't last forever as a series, would'nt it be better to rap all this up before it's pushed out unfinished or the main stars get tired and we end up with some sort of bodge together job like the Dukes Of Hazzard turned into or the X Files (i mean, did anyone actually make it to the last series let alone and be interested?)
Anyway, overall it was an excellent series. I laughed a lot, which I think is good but have to say I also ... Read More:

DVD : Laurel And Hardy - Way Out West [1937]
Even when you already know what is about to occur, there are several scenes in this film that will make you laugh out loud. It is amazing to think that this film is over 70 years old, and therefore not surprising one or two bits seem a little dated. There are too many funny moments to list now. So, all in all, is rightly considered the classic it was, even these days.

Part of the magic of this film is Laurel and Hardy singing 'trail of the lonesome pine' which amazingly, very nearly sat at the top of the pop charts, almost 40 years later.
