Bicentennial Man is a film which follows a unique and extraordinary robot over a period of approximately two hundred years in his attempt to "...be acknowledged," and become more human. It becomes obvious early after his activation by Richard Martin (Sam Neill) in the family home that `Andrew' is more that just another NDR robot. He develops an interest in classical music, builds a friendship with `little miss' and becomes a skilled craftsman... or craftsbot? The passage of time in Bicentennial Man is handled well and perfectly paced with a two hundred year journey compressed into a film just over two hours in duration. As time continues the cityscape becomes more futuristic and evolved (you may notice the change in Rupert Burns Enterprises ... Read More:

There isn't much to say about this film. It was poorly shot, poorly acted and to top it off the storyline was non exsistant. As with many horror films there is always a weird non- related sexual episode where we see disturbing close ups of the man's head bobbing up and down in a frenzy. Many weird things happened in this house including bloody axes, hanging and a 'scary' second half where the characters actually start turning on each other Lord of the Flies style. I cannot rank this film highly because there is not a singular moment that I can say was well done or acted, another waste of my life.

I didn't know it was a true story until the end to explain what happened to the two doomed lovers and it is quite shocking. It starts out calmy with Agnes being a rebel and dosn't really mix with everyone else as she is called "The Yellow Woman" behind her back. But when she meets James, her world is turned upside down. Handsome and charming, she falls for him deeply and they have a passionate love affair but then things start falling apart and he turns evil by horribly disfiguring her and becoming like the devil. They met a few years later with one last confrontation which dosen't end happily. It is truely shocking to me as I really like Daniel Craig and when he turns, it frightened me but when he's charming he's funny and when he's romantic I melt. ... Read More:

DVD : Graveyard Series, Episode 2: Disciple of Death [1972]
This incredible low budget British horror really has to be seen to be disbelieved.
Set in the 18th century, it concerns two young lovers Ralph and Julia, living in a small Cornish village, who decide to seal their love with a blood pact. Unfortunately, Julia's blood ressurects The Stranger, played by director, actor,DJ and sculptor Mike Raven, who comes to the village on the pretence of being a returning Lord of the manor.
Then murders start to happen, and some women dissiapear,to be used by the Stranger as undead slaves in order to fulfill a centuries old satanic ritual. When the Stranger starts to exert his evil influence on Julia, Ralph and the village Parson(the always wonderful Ronald Lacey) visit a local Jewish Kabalist(!?) who lives ... Read More:

If you followed the first series then you cannot possibly want to miss the sequel. Its funny yet romantic. Robson Green is great in both series as is Francesca Annis. We have both series from the day they first came out on video tape and I have lost count of the number of times we have enjoyed watching. Iwould and have recommended the series to many many friends and I would give it 10 stars if it were allowed

First of all I give this a title a 5star rating for a few merefacts. First of all the animation is horrible as of todays standard, however back in the day this animation rocked. So out of respect I give it a 1star for animation. The voice talent was wonderful I give it a solid 2stars. The backgrounds for the characters was great I give it 1star as well which brings me to my final star, Story. The story itself should have recieved more stars however this is only on a 5star gig. So, so whoever thought, wow what were the jungle book animals like when they were kids, and Mowgli wasn't around. Well now we get to see it. I place this movie between my Jungle Book 1 and 2.
To me this seems more like a midquel. The show is based on Balloo taking Mowgli back to the ... Read More:
