Like the other reviewers here I watched this on BBC Four and it was certainly an interesting documentary. In some ways one time confirmed Reaganite Neil Young went up in my estimation, although he is still comes across at the age of 63 as confused, self centred, and contradictory as a teenager - no doubt one of the reasons he has stayed musically relevant over the years.Unfortunately, the two most politically aware members of CSNY, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash, don't really get much credit. At the beginning of the doc CSNY are introduced as legendary anti-war performers, which I confess, as someone who saw them live in 1974, I found rather confusing, because it was in fact CS&N who were overtly anti-war.For those who doubt this and think I'm ... What a film!. Everyone should watch & understand what we on earth might end up like.

This Film offers good acting with limited effects, offering none stop chilling action story from start to end.

The story allows you to wounder what Soylent Green is about, & why are the rich always better off.

I read most of the reviews before renting from Amazon offering good inside to this film.

Should you watch too, then yes. I would like to see this film played out each year on T.V for all to see.

Rent it, be completely taken away to our Earth World! & the problems we might find in the future, if we dont stop & think first.

The film gives a good view if we had ... Read More:

I have adored this film since I was a young teenager and having just watched it again, I enjoyed it even more. The combination of Deneuve, Bowie, Sarandon and Bauhaus results in an effortlessly charismatic and other-worldly atmosphere, but just as importantly as the horror story it tells, I think this film beautifully brings the 1980s back to life.

Beautiful and odd, perfect in spite of its faults, this is a hugely enjoyable film.

There's a lot to recommend this, and it's a great film. The scale of the movie is as epic as the giant ego leading the Third Army around Europe. Patton was clearly one of a kind, a brilliant leader who had a fantastic way with words, and possibly the least subtle human being alive.

The screenplay is extremely good and the filming is superb. You really feel what is going on in WWII events of the time, and Patton's frustration and will to fight is what drove him and his men.

George C Scott won an Oscar, he should've won about twelve.

Where does one start with LAST EXIT TO BROOKLYN?
Let's start, as many do, with the book. It is without a doubt a literary masterpiece, littered with low-life characters each leading a loveless existence. When I first read it the intense, pulsing, musical style of the prose often left me breathless. The unbearably dark passages that Selby led me down quite frankly infected my psyche. It is an incredible book. "An urgent ticker tape from hell..." wrote one journalist on its release. Amen to that.

When I purchased this DVD I had not seen the movie adaptation and, to be honest, I slapped it in to my DVD player with a little trepidation. I furrowed my brow, convinced that (as with many adaptations) it would simply be a watered down version of the book.

It's not often that i rate films a full five out of five as viewers of my previous ratings will see, maybe i set my expectations very high when watching films. But then again i believe films should grab us, catch us and keep us watching the whole way through. This is what this film does. It mixes a subtle blend of thrills, sex, erotica, mind games, and crime. A sumptuous blend of all these make this film an unmissable two hours of your life.

I remember this show from the early 1980's here in America on Nickelodeon. And I've missed it very much.

I was upset that it was to only be released to the UK. But thankfully it has been released to Region 0.

So this is what you (Americans) can do. You can play it on your American PC or buy a regionless DVD player (Or, I think, I player that plays both NTSC and PAL.) They are out there. You just have to look for them.

I own Season 1, 2, and just ordered 3 and "One Law."

I cannot wait to get those.

This was such a great show, and I am so glad to view them once again.

"Steven" and "Peter the Time Traveler" are my favorites.

"John" and "Mike" are second.

If you haven't ordered the TP DVDs, order them ... Read More:

This is quite a pleasant film, centering on the attraction between two unassuming married people who meet at a wedding. They become friends - clearly they are soulmates - but are nice enough not to want to destroy their marriages, unsatisfactory up to a point as these are, because their respective spouses are not bad, just limited and fallible. These same spouses start an affair of a kind and things become rather complicated. There are good jokes and good moments ; also some rather flat sequences. Danson and Rosselini are good, and surprisingly convincing, as the soulmates, and there's some cookie fun with Lloyd Bridges as Danson's dad. I didn't like the film as much as many others did. It seemed to me to be trying too hard and too obviously to be a feel-good movie, and for me the genuinely ... Read More:
