I am not usually a fan of animations but watched this for review purposes for a website. It is absolutely fantastic. Beautifully animated, perfectly cast and hilarious and touching in equal measure, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Frequently hilarious, never boring,unpredictable and well-written, filmed,directed and acted.But it stretched credibility a little too far and if, like me, you don't approve of beauty pageants for young girls,and of the bad swearing in the presence of children,you still won't be overly impressed by what on the face of it is advertised as something of a family movie!

Carrey plays a miserable, complaining nobody who gets incredible powers after he offers to swop places with God. Some of the scenes after this are terrific fun. Morgan Freeman is God, and the weird thing is, he suits the role admirably!

DO NOT BUY THIS 2 DISC VERSION! My main reason for buying this 2 DVD version (and the only reason I can see that anyone would spend an extra £5 over the single DVD version) is the ability to legally copy the film to your computer or portable media player. Well for the moment at least you may as well use the extra DVD as coaster. The serial numbers provided in the box don't work. When I contacted Fox I was told this was because the film isn't released in the US until the 9th of December and so digital copies will not be available until then. This is absurd! Those of us who have paid for the digital copy should be able to use it now. Hopefully Fox will get this sorted but given media companies history of dealing with digital restrictions they place ... When I first heard of this film, I thought 'Yeah it just looks like another cheesy american film', however when I finally saw it at my friends house I was plesantly suprised. Not only was it hilarious at nearly every point, it was a well thought-out plot, and an all-round clever and entertaining film. I really do recommend this to anyone who enjoys relevant comedy. A brilliant film.

This is a flat-out comedy classic. But what is it about British TV networks? Is their quality control so off-kilter, that they would force-feed the population hours of total crap, while hiding the truly transcendent stuff in some nether-world of night-owl TV scheduling? As with Seinfeld on BBC2, Curb on More4, so it happened with The American Office. Buried by ITV2 in a spot where only insomniacs would have found it ( apart from a brief spell where they put it out at 7pm to try and compete with this DVD release of the same week ), The Office USA, is, as far as I am concerned, the next best thing if you've completed your Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm collections. Sleepover is a great movie. If you like mean girls, you will like this! Its a super fun movie and great for a girly night in. Makes me smile when i watch it!

A comedy DVD dont' get eny funnier than this!. Will and the gang just had so much fun that by the end off the shoot, there was enough material to make a second fiture - not a secuel (comes out in 2009) but a second take on the epic jurney, of the number one news team, and there far out eskapades. This is the kind of DVD you watch with the boys, smoke some Green tobaki... and just laugh you're self's blue in the face. Right up there with "Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back", "Tenacious D - Complete Master Works", "Terror Firmer", and some of the John Waters stuff. This one makes Jim Carry look like a 2'end grader trying to impress his school-buddys, by pissing his pants... What can i say? - I just love lamps.

I was reluctant to watch this file as I thought that it might be similar to Bruce Almighty - fortunately my fears were quickly laid to rest. I found this film to be a lovely, gentle comedy and really great entertainment on a wet Sunday afternoon. What I loved about it was the script's complete awareness of the absurdity of the situation - a US politician (Steve Carell) told by God (Morgan Freeman)to build an ark, well in land and with no rain in sight - I winced with embarrassment for him more than once as the story unfolded, and yet at the same time I chuckled into my cocoa. I don't think this proports to be an amazing film, and the ending is fairly predictable right from the start, but it is a happy, feel-good film and worth watching. I heartily recommend it.

Michael Scott is incredibly annoying. He throws his staff's files around the office just because he feels like it, and he destroys the shelving system on the shop floor using a fork-lift truck, again because he wants some fun. The only reason he hasn't been fired yet is that his branch is only the fourth worst performer out of five Dunder Mifflin branches. Oh and he did sleep with his boss. Although the office gossip suggests that not only did they make out, they also had sex. Later episodes cast doubt on whether much happened, although extraordinarily Jan drives for two hours to come to 'Casino Night', the final episode of this season.
