There's not much to say about this film apart from it's truly awful and Danny Cipriani (Wasps stand-off and currently best Rugby Union player in England (2008) and "going out" with the female lead) is a lucky man - as long as he doesn't have to watch Kelly Brook acting.

Not that she's worse than the other "characters". It's a no star film with 2-d acting. If you want to see Kelly Brook's most famous assets then buy it as that's all there is - if you want to see a film with a plot, characters and any degree of finesse look elsewhere.

To be fair, the famous assets are tip-top (!) but no matter how cheap the DVD is it won't be cheap enough.

A rare film, filled with all sorts of emotions and different levels of thought from base bullying, up to the higher evolution of man. I bought and watched this a week ago, and I am sure I will watch it again, many times in the future. Worth your money and your time. And does anyone know where the soundtrack is available, at a reasonable price? Cheers.

Gazzara is magnificent as the drunken transgressive poet who shifts from one sordid sexual encounter to another. This character's idea of time out is to hit the streets and hang out with the disadvantaged and vulnerable casualties of the American dream! Although the subject matter is bleak and at times shocking, Ferreri presents an underworld that is not loaded with misplaced bourgoise sympathy or victim mentality. The people that inhabit these shady places are damaged and brutalised by their suroundings and personal circumstances but they are able to seek moments of poetic enlightenment. For example the beach hotel, staffed by unpretentious warm, caring staff, becomes an oasis of peace and tranquilty. Nevertheless the poet is an alchoholic and the consequences of ... Read More:

DVD : Flesh And Blood [1985]
Flesh and Blood is a 1985 movie by Paul Verhoeven, the director who is most notable for his sci-fi films such as Robocop, Total Recall and Starship Troopers. In this film he turns his attention to the late Medieval/early Renaissance era with an adventure that follows a group of Landsknecht mercenaries.

It is 1501, and war is raging in Italy. Arnolfini, a rich and powerful warlord is besieging an enemy town. Assisting Arnolfini's army is Captain Martin and his band of mercenary thugs. When Martin's troops are victorious in taking the town, Arnolfini betrays them and confiscates all their loot for himself - booting Martin's men out of the town in the process.
Martin's soldiers find themselves wandering aimlessly through the countryside until they uncover a statue ... Read More:

Mitchell Anderson leads a great ensemble cast in this story of a gay man who after a second hate crime leaves his colorful cast of friends to find himself. While Mitchell is wonderful it's the rest of the cast including Jennifer Tilly and Lorie Petty who STEAL the show. The speech given by Lorie's girlfriend in the movie was one of the most heartfelt scenes I've ever witnessed in a movie. It's worth the price of the DVD itself. At it's heart it's a comedy with dramatic elements. Definitely a must have

What a crazy film! Not exactly wholesome family viewing - but mine enjoyed it! The vision of chicken boy and his drunk mum with her lover will stay with me for a long time! If you like the unexpected and bizarre you will enjoy this. And all the Elfmans in it! Great fun.

DVD : Poison Ivy: The New Seduction [1997] (REGION 1) (NTSC)
It's great isn't it? When porn gets called erotica because there are no money shots. If you buy Poison Ivy: The New Seduction (the best of the Poison Ivy series IMO) that's just what you'll get. If you, like me, are a fan of seeing naked women moaning, but don't like the messy stuff, this is the skin-flick for you. But just remember, the girls aren't really enjoying it, and if they could see you yankin' it while watching them, they would feel sick and call you a disgusting pervert. And you very well may be. Good on you.
