If i had to chose one movie as representing the greatest western movie of all times this will definitely be my unanimous choice .
it discusses state, religion and the ordinary people in the guise of the Garribaldi rebellion in Sicily but is a very true account of the human existence since beginning of time.
The essence of the theme is that something has to change for nothing to change in entirety ,in this case it is the aristrocratic order being disguised as a political regime by the italian intervention .
Burt Lancaster is the wise prince who represents the aristocracy and the state with Alain Delon as his impoverished nephew who is obliged to marry the daughter of an upstart politician who represents the nouveau rich new order. ... Read More:

my name is nobody is a strange film upon first glance, spoof led at times, serious at others, funny, thrilling and zany but with the legendary henry fonda and terence hill in it and part directed by the god like sergio leone, this is something very different when you consider all the key ingredients thrown in.

Technical flaws aside owing to the very grainy resolution, this is Great Expectations as it ought to be... arresting and deeply evocative. This is very, very good. Having admired David Lean's rather compressed version of Dickens' superb novel for many years and having endured the complete annihilation of the said novel in the abhorrent farrago starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Ethan Hawke, it is an absolute joy to witness the sheer quality of realisation in this production. It vastly outclasses the other productions on every level although the Lean has great nostalgic charm and appeal. Relatively faithful to the novel, this is profoundly engaging. The acting is superb.Charlotte Rampling inhabits the character of Miss Havisham at a stellar level, evoking a sympathetic ... Read More:

Robert Redford's charm. As one character describes him, "This year I want to hear it from someone with style and charm..." and indeed Robert has that. This is a charming film. Ok, there's not a great amount of story, but if you pay attention to Rob's and Debra's comedy timing, you will be rewarded.

Terence Hill & Bud Spencer (Crimebusters) are back in another comedy cop film. More story based then 'crimebusters'less of the big fight scenes they are well known for even thou is does include some memorable ones. Still enjoyable movie as to help them solve a crime this time they get help from some beauiful woman. This is a must for Bud & Terence fans shows they've come a long way from the days of 'Trinty' and 'watch out were mad'.

Some of the critics of other reviewers are to the point.
BUT (BIG BUT!): Where can you get a French Foreign Legion film in color with enough budget a good cast (and a pity there is not a P.C.Wren's SCRIPT!) and an interesting script? NOWHERE ELSE...

It is probably true that the film tries to tell too many things at the same time... but for once I do not care... some scenes are magnificent... parts of the script are brilliant... parts simply unbelievable (meaning hard to believe)... but with a kind approach (state of spirit) and a little suppression of disbelief IT WORKS...

And it works mainly BECAUSE it is about THE LEGION... and there is a great GENE HACKMAN and lots of good actors as a supporting cast...
