its a nice addition to the b5 universe.
i understand some of the criticisms of the reviewers but you have to take into account the restrictions with which jms had to work.
the budget is very obviously very small and as such i believe he has done a good job
how do you write and produce a good sci fi on a shoestring
if you look at the majority of the big american sci fi series and then compare it to what he had to work with on the original series and even more so on this,i defy anyone to do a better job
i feel that these days most people want to see action and fast punchy story lines all the time ,b5 was always a bit different becuase although it had action there was always a cerebral quality to the stories. ... Read More:

I sat down to watch this film with high expectations - with several outstanding reviews and an interesting selection of actors (including David Bowie) I thought it would turn out to be a gem. I was of course completely wrong.
The plot was wishy-washy and in my opinion could only satisfy the and weak-minded as I felt it was prissy and the characters were unbelievable. Bowie was out of place and looked like a boring old man reading out a learnt script. I failed to find the ending sad as I did not relate to the characters and although I have heart-felt sadness and sympathy with those who suffer from cancer and other terminal illnesses I did not want to watch a film about it.
This certainly is a film to be avoided.

Tracey Gold is not the most beautiful woman in the world. But this role gave her other works. Nice picture, good sound and image. It was shot in 1994. Buy it now or perhaps you will not get other chance.

DVD : A Christmas Romance [1994]
Olivia Newton John gives us yet another charming christmas film, this time playing single mum Julia Stonecypher. Julia is up to her eyeballs in debt, struggling to cope raising her two young daughters without her husband, who has recently passed away. As a ruthless bayliff (Gregory Harrison) Is coming to snatch away her possesions leaving her and her kids homeless, for a while it looks like no christmas good will will come her way this year....

Until the debt collector gets injured in a snowstorm, and a bond forms between him and Julia.

There is also some very good acting from the children, ONJ's real-life daughter Chloe Lattanzi, who plays eldest daughter Deenie, and little Stephanie Sawyer who plays Emily Rose, now a huge child ... Read More:

Reaching again to the most protected and child-proof shelf in the house, I pull down SG1 series 2. In reality, this box set is another brilliant masterpiece, featuring one of my all-time fave episodes, '1969'. This, fortunately, is a good thing, because we too live in reality along with those things that help us get along with our lives. Money cannot make us happy, but it sure as hell helps to. This series is a brilliant follow-on to SG1 series 1, and has a lot more digitised visuals in there, as I'm sure they got a fatter budget when they realised that this whole thing was a hit!
