Somehow I missed this first time around, and tuned in to see it on BBC3, however missed a lot of that as well, so time to buy the DVD. Have to say this was an excellent DVD, well shot, good special effects and an outstanding cast list. Also, for once, this was pretty faithful to the original unlike many Hollywood remakes. Well worth a purchase!

DVD : Bluegrass Journey: A Documentary [2003]
This DVD gives a special insight into the world of Bluegrass,What it is, why people play it and why people listen to it. Some amazing performances along the way but beware, this is a documentary and some of the recordings are cut short or have voice over. Still well worth a watch for any Bluegrass or Country fans.

I don't have much to say about this film, but I'll write a large paragraph anyway. I wasn't expecting much but what I got was wrist slashing viewing. Most of the film consisted of a cheap Blair Witch-esque story revolving around a clown with a large head and a group of ugly, badly shot teenagers whose main goal was to have rampant sex with each other as loudly and in the most uncomfortable places possible, doing it extra slowly in the middle of the forest they happen to be in so that anyone wandering by can have a good old gawp. Add that to the typical 'the clowns behind you' but you can't see because your too busy staring at the ground or at someone's boobs and then getting covered in weird blood by a stupid retractable knife into the equation and you've got the horror ... The Bee Gees are back, finally. It's a great single!!!!! Very acoustic, no modern stuff. The lyrics are funny and personal. Their latest cd sounds the same, very old-fashioned!!! A very clever record, there's no doubt.
