These are brilliant suspense / shoot 'em up films. Classic stuff, and while the first is the best by a wide margin, they're all worth owning. Great fun.

You've seen your Ford westerns, Your John Wayne Westerns. Your Spaghetti westerns. Simply put this is Shakespearian Western. With lots of modern profanity. Why not? Shakespeare told human interest stories modernised for his then sophisticated Elizabethan audience. So it is with Deadwood. You can watch it as a very entertaining high adventure or enjoy the powerful subtext and character interaction. Monologues from the characters worthy of Macbeth or Hamlet or Richard III lace the tales and give a rich tapestry to the story of Deadwood. True love mirrored in moral abiguity. This is an entertaining movie, it's got some great stunts and good car chases. The violence has been toned right down but the film is still very enjoyable in a daft kind of way.

Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko is out of place in this piece of crap film based on a computer game. Hollywood - obviously running out of ideas for new films now seems to try anything - from computer games to sequels to remakes. This DVD features the UNRATED version of the film, which is a bit more violent than the PG-13 version shown in movie theaters in the States. Nonetheless it DOESN'T make a crappy film any better. And sorry, Timothy Olyphant is NOT a convincing actor at all.

John is back and doing what he does best saving the day! If your looking for a film with none stop action then this is the one for you, the film never gets boring there is a story to follow and its easy enough to get into its in a nutshell about a computer hacker thats trying to destroy the usa by taking all the countrys money. John is as always in the wrong place at the wrong time but hes the man to save the day and he does so.

Having been impressed by the first two series of Deadwood, I was expecting another well written dramatic jewel. What a disappointment. The plot, such as there is, meanders along, with new (superfluous)characters thrown in with the obvious intent of providing continuity for the next (never to be completed) series, more incoherent drunken ramblings from Calamity Jane, a pointless cameo from Wyatt Earp and a finale that, by the time it arrives, is so overdue that it comes as a relief from the tedium, despite it's complete lack of drama. Series 3 of Deadwood is rubbish. It could have been a masterpiece. However, having said that, the acting of Ian McShane et al is still superb. Deadwood puts all the other stuff to be found on the telly way into the shade...in fact it kicks the rest into crapdom. The dialogue here is excellent, the story-lines are believable, intelligent and clever, and the suspense kicks in from the beginning. The characters are superb, human, real. Someone here has made a lot of effort to get things right and should be commended for their work. I will repeat myself here....the dialogue, the script, is excellent. If I could give this 6 or more than 5 stars I then would. Brilliant. Brilliant. Brilliant. Thank you Mr Milch.

I have to disagree with the consensus here. I really love HBO stuff, especially OZ and the Wire, and I like Westerns and have read some real history of the West - so this should have been made in Heaven, for me. And to be fair, they did try to to what I'd hoped for - a gritty, realistic and witty approach. It starts well, with one of the Carradine brothers as Buffalo Bill; for me, he was the standout performer, and is certainly the focus of the early series, but he dies early in the first series, and it goes downhill from there. His sidekick Calamity Jane is given an interesting modern interpretation as an alcoholic butch lesbian, brilliantly played, but neglected after Bill dies; the writers can't seem to think of much to do with her after that - and that's the problem with the series generally, ... I am happy to give this film a good review because I was not holding out much hope for it being brilliant. I really liked it though, it was gentle and touching without being a typical chick flick and there was a genuine feeling of sadness surrounding Jennifer Garner's widowed character. A good movie to make you appreciate life and all the people in it, friends and lovers.

HitMan is worth the money. Lots of action and definate way to spend a night in. Read other reviews to determine whether to make this purchase and Blu ray version shows all the attention to detail. Wont talk much of the film as it be too much to give away. But go ahead and make that purchase
