The first is about Donald's Christmas, when his three nephews wish it was Christmas every day. their wish comes true, and at the ands of the story they realise what the true meaning of Christmas is about. The second is about Goofys Christmas. When Pete, their next door neighbour tells Goofy's son that Santa isnt real, he starts to think that there might not be a santa. this film is about Goofy trying to prove that there is a Santa for those who believe. I LOVE this movie!! It was one of the first Disney christmasmovies I`ve ever bought, and I watch it several times every year. My favorite is "Mickeys christmas carol", it`s just the ultimate christmas movie. When Scrooge wakes up on christmas morning, takes a walk around saying merry christmas to everyone, and in the end where he delivers lots of gifts and food for poor Bob`s family, it`s awesome... :) I`m not that big a fan of the build-up around these short movies, mixing the new clubhouse stuff with old classics, but that`s such a tiny, tiny little piece of this, and it`s not THAT bad. "Pluto`s christmas tree" and "The Nutcracker" are also great classics. I think your inner child has to be well dead and buried ;) if you don`t like them ... Read More:

The battle of Thermopylae was one of the most decisive battles in world history, as well as being one of the most awe inspiring. If the beurocrats in Brussels truly want to forge a common sense of European identity then perhaps they should ensure that every schoolchild on the continent is at least aware of the story. Sadly, the battle isn't really as well known as it should be, or at least wasn't until the blockbuster '300' came out last year. And here we have an American made documentary to companion that film, sticking fairly closely to the events as depicted there (and astonishingly as the events are widely agreed to have actually happened). Hey fantastic show I have the DVD and I was so Happy Mr John took the time and realised that all the old stuff its what us punters want to hear. His Live shows are legendary and to have all this materail is fantastic. So I purchaed the Blue Ray Disc expecting to be blowen away with sound. What the hell is PCM 5.1?!?! My apmlifier thinks its PCM 2.0 no matter what I try. There are 2 options PCM 2.0 and PCM 5.1. "Its still sterio to me but I'm indifferent". Stick with the DVD version, it IS in 5.1 with the DTS option. It's filmed in HD so the DVD is going to shine when played on a Blue Ray player. Sooooooooooo disapointed!

I was pretty entertained by this sequel. What I found most impressive was the excellent voice-over work. I have gone back and checked what the deal was and found it very interesting that both the Winnie the Pooh crews (new and old) were very much involved in the Jungle Books. Kaa the snake was my main interest, being done by the same voice over guy who now does Winnie the Pooh (Jim Cummings). Just as the original Kaa the snake, Sterling Holloway, was also the same guy who did the original Winnie voice . The other was the Black Panther, Bageera, originally done by Mr. French of Family Affair, the great Sebastian Cabot... now being done so well by Bob Joles who also narrates the Winnie series these days, just as Mr Cabot did in his day. Since I was a youngster I've enjoyed listening to Les Paul playing and with Mary Ford singing. I have a couple of C-D'S and records, but had never seen them,( "live, as it were"),but this DVD put me almost side by side with them. It is full of very interesting facts, great footage of performances and clips from their American TV series. His inventiveness and technical skill has been a major contribution to modern music and at 90 years old and still playing, an inspiration to any would-be guitarist. At a mere 65 I have decided to pick up my guitar and try again. If he can do it!!

Instead, he got a rather terrifying story about power struggles, corporate incompetence and a band defying nightmarish circumstances to emerge with a classic album and new contract. For a start, Wilco drummer Ken Coomer was fired on the first day of shooting. Jones' camera doesn't actually record the incident, but it does capture the subsequent power struggle between main songwriter Jeff Tweedy and other main songwriter Jay Bennett. The dramatic high point of this story is a tense conversation in the control room between Tweedy and Bennett concerning an edit between two songs - a classic case of the conversation not being about what it ought to be about.
